As an IHG employee myself, I felt the service could have been slightly better. The first young lady I interacted with nice and advised that my room was not ready and I could call later after 2:30 to check the status. No problem
The second rep was a man by the name of Robbie.
I am unsure of the owners policies, but I am unaware of any IHG policy that forces a guest to use (2) different form of payment for the accommodations and incidentals. My (1) card has/had enough on it to cover the room and any incidentals 50x over. I don't want to assume it was a profiling issue but that is the feeling the experience gave me; yet, I still provided a second credit card. After doing so it seems he's demeanor lighten and finished the transaction in a manner I believe it should have began.
Overall, I was pleased with the stay. It was a girls spa nigh for my God-daughter's birthday.
I would recommend that the location looks into the (2) method of payment policy. If the property is able to authorized the amount plus incidentals, there should be no need for a second method. The request seems fraudulent and/or inconveniencing, also it seems it would cause a loss of business. If I wasn't already vested in the location, it would have caused the loss of my business.

The bed for some reason really hurt my back. So it was a rough week. The problem I mentioned earlier about the staff arguing was the only problem we had with staff. Otherwise staff was pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed the room itself. It was well worth the money we spent.

Stayed at this hotel as a last minute booking due to leaving home late after work. The staff was AWESOME and could not have been more accommodating. The room was too small for 3 to sleep in. The staff brought in a roll away bed that filled up any extra space there might have been in the room. You could here anyone walking above us or by our room. So the ability to obtain sleep was almost nothing.
