Literal roach hotel

I poorly chose this hotel for business travel and should have know better when I saw the room cost.
My allergies were acting up since I had arrived at the hotel. My room smelled like wet dog and the air conditioning unit was dirty. I woke up in the morning to cockroaches around the refrigerator and on the countertops.
I was sick for almost a week after staying here. The place is disgusting and the staff are next to useless. I asked for supplies for the kitchen as the room had next to nothing to cook with and the didn't know where anything was.
I really like going with IHG hotels, but this one let me know I still need to be careful choosing since they do not check in on them themselves.
How this place has four stars for their reviews I don't know other than some being fake reviews.

Thank You to Diana and her manager who worked with us all week as our power was out due to a snow storm. They were flexible, kind, and professional with us during a difficult week. We could not return to our home because our power was out and they worked with us to help accommodate us.
