Great Team

The Team, led by General Manager Neina Morris is a wonderful team to work with. We have stayed at the hotel due to local business commitments, so the hotel has been like our home. As we prepare to leave all we can say are great things about the people who work on site. During the Covid-19 crisis we had a lot of concerns about the safety of being in a hotel setting. However, those concerns have been well managed due to the precautions taken by the team. It is our hope that ownership understands the daily commitments made by their staff to meet the needs of their guest in a professional and responsive manner, and values them for doing so, all of them! The only challenge has been when other guest have chosen to smoke in their rooms. We are very comfortable in referring this site to anyone.

Worst customer service I ever received. No room was available for me at 7pm. Rude and ghetto attitude.

We arrived at the hotel at 6.30 pm, when the check in time is 3pm. The line at the front desk was around 6 people with nobody in sight who works there. About 10 minutes later the lady came out and said that if everyone has reservations they will get rooms but rooms are not ready yet. There was no timeline given. After standing in the line for over 30 minutes without any movement , any apologies or explanation, and no room available we left to eat. I called the property from the restaurant to see if there were any rooms available around 8 pm, and was put on hold for over 40 minutes. So we went to a different hotel where we had no issues. Candlewood Suites did charge my card for the stay , and when I contacted them I was met by horrible attitude from Guest Services agent, as well as the manager who introduced herself as Shannon. I was told that it was my choice to leave, and it didnt matter that they did not have the room for me to check in at 7pm (4 hours after the chekin ). They said the room was available just not cleaned yet. There was not accountability from anyone, no apologies, just rudeness and attitude. I have never been treated this way by any hospitality business, and they still took my money and wont refund.
Do not go to this hotel, all you will get is ghetto attitude and no professionalism. Disgusting

Amazing service and bed

This hotel is by far the best one I’ve been to in Georgia. Everything there is amazing, the staff, the cleanliness, the bed, tv, etc. I highly recommend this to anyone that’s staying in the McDonough area. Also the price was amazing! Love it!
