You can’t leave Georgia without visiting cave city of Vardzia - UNESCO treasured, built by King Giorgi in the 12th century, cultural symbol with a special place in the heart of Georgians. The remarkable feature of Vardzia is that the inhabitants lived in dwellings carved from the rock and ranging over 13 floors. Altogether there are 119 cave groups, with 409 rooms, 13 churches and 25 wine cellars!
