The old city has recently been pedestrianized allowing visitors to experience the traditional side of the city on foot. The area is full of restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream parlours, serving an array of traditional and international foods. The Old Town is a 7 minute drive and 25 minute walk from the hotel along a seafront prommenade.

According to mythology, the ancient city-kingdom of Amathus is where Theseus left the pregnant Ariadne to be taken care of after his battle with the Minotaur. An important cult of Aphrodite-Astarte flourished here. Excavations have revealed parts of the Acropolis and Agora areas, as well as parts of the upper and lower city. The remains include five early Christian Basilicas that date back to the Archaic, Roman and Christian periods. Often used as a venue for concerts throughout the year.

A stronghold a few kilometers outside the city of Limassol, it held great strategic importance and contained production of sugar, one of Cyprus' main exports in the Middle Ages. The original castle was possibly built in 1210 by Frankish military when the land of Kolossi was given by King Hugh III to the Knights of the order of St. John of Jerusalem (Hospitallers) who made the famous Commandaria dessert wine. The present castle was built in 1454 by the Hospitallers.

A beautiful seaside walk that will take you all the way from the hotel to the Molos Sculpture Park and into the old town. There are both pedestrian and cycle paths available, as well as several cafes on the way in case you get thirsty.

There are several golf courses near Limassol, including the Intercontinental Aphrodite Hills which has beautiful golf courses overlooking the sea.
