Kaiyuan Temple

Kaiyuan Temple is located in west Street, Licheng District, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. It is an important cultural relic and historic site in southeast China and a large-scale Buddhist temple in Fujian Province. The temple was founded in the early Tang Dynasty two years (686), the initial name lotus Taoist, kaiyuan twenty-sixth year (738) renamed Kaiyuan Temple.
