Good Location/ Comfortable Bed

Stayed for 4 night for my Birthday getaway and to celebrate our 10 yrs together with my husband. We were excited to celebrate in their Restaurant but was gutted it was closed. Unfortunately we didn’t [More] enjoyed all the facilities due to the Level 2 alert in Wellington. Room was big and very clean aside from a minor issues in shower. It flood the bathroom when we shower. We enjoyed our 3rd night in the hotel. But on our last day in the hotel I was so disappointed. We are aware that they carry on a work renovation in the hotel. What we didn’t expected it was directly outside the wall in our room. They started drilling at 9am lucky i get up early as i didn’t slept that night. The noise was unbearable. We went out for breakfast hoping they finish by the time we come back in our room. When we come back after breakfast they were still drilling. I don't want to go out because the weather is bad outside. But we can not get rest because of the noise so we decided to go out. After lunch we come back to our room around 2pm. I Want to rest coz very tired from walking around outside with the rain and it was very cold outside. I got headache. But we can not relax in our room. The noise can damaged your hearing without wearing hearing protection. It was really loud. So we went down sit in the lobby. I din’t realise the drilling is for the whole day. But 1 thing I dont understand how come they put a guest in that room if they know they will do drilling the wall whole day? A noise came from few meters away is understandable but not just in your wall. I still recommend this hotel and would like to stay again in the future as it is very close to everything. [Less]

A comfortable stay

We appreciated the early check in and check out. The upgrade was superb we enjoyed the harbour view from our spacious room. The room was very quiet and private. We enjoyed the Breakfast and service. [More] The help with luggage was excellent. Highly recommend. [Less]
