The property seemed very nice and "fresh" in appearance. Reception was very welcoming, and the room was very spacious and seemed clean. The exercise equipment concept, while well intended, I must[More] question???
As I had read in a review prior to my booking "...bathroom sink does not want to drain...", well either I stayed in that very room, or the problem is perhaps more widespread. In any event, thanks to the built-in overflow, a catastrophe was averted.
The "to go" breakfast did offer several choices, however like other brands, I think the time has come to get back to hot self serve breakfasts, if that was part of their offering pre-pandemic.
The same with morning newspapers.
The property location is fairly convenient to the Dry Creek DRT station, maybe a 12 minute stroll, however restaurant options within walking distance are slim to none.
I do recommend the EVEN hotel as it is just what it promises[Less]
While in the breakfast area I was assisted by Arlene. I was in a hurry and needed to get food for my kids and get on the road. She was so kind and so helpful! She went above and beyond to meet my[More] every need. My family was happy and had full tummies, thanks to Arlene's kindness and compassion! Arlene is a wonderful person to have on your staff!
She made up for the construction that was going on in the hotel.[Less]
Overall hotel was great. The intranet did not work properly so it was inconvenient that I had to go else where to get work done.
Carpet in room was filthy. Overall room was great[Less]
Nice Hotel but 1 Bad Apple
We really liked this hotel a lot. The firepit with the view of the mountains was one of the best experiences I had at a hotel. The only issue I had with this hotel was one of the staff members[More] working in the front desk. She had the worst attitude I have ever experienced at any hotel I've stayed at. After we checked into the hotel with her my wife and I both noticed her bad attitude. It was pretty busy so I figured she was just a bit stressed at that time. Or she just didn't like that we paid for the hotel with points because she said, "Oh, your paying with points" in a frustrated/disappointed way. Anyways, so the next morning I came downstairs to inquire about getting access to wifi. I saw she was the only one there and this time it wasn't busy at all, so when I asked her about the wifi she yelled "What?!" at me in an angry way, and told me I should've checked in earlier. In spite of her attitude I continued to remain calm and respectful and not point out her attitude to either her or anyone else. Fortunately, I later saw another front desk employee and he was able to help me out with a positive attitude. But wow, I'm not sure how this lady ended up working here but she really should consider working somewhere else like the DMV.[Less]
