My family and I stay here at least twice a year moving our Augustana College student to and from school.
You will never find a hotel closer to an airport than this one, but you wouldn't know it by

the sound. There is no airport noise in this hotel. Pre-arrange the hotel shuttle it and it will pick you up and drop you off at the airport, 5 minutes away with a very helpful, strong, friendly driver. She was great. Shuttle is very helpful if you come in late and need a car rental (since they close early at the airport), you can just be shuttled back for free to pick up a rented car.
Front desk fine checking in and offered free bottled water, which is greatly appreciated. Most HIE's offer you water bottles on your way in and on your way out. One day I asked for one on my way out and a different desk person pointed to their sundry section and said, "You can buy one from there." I asked, "So I may not have a free bottle of water?". She said, "If you want a bottle of water you will have to pay for it". I was surprised and continued on my way out without water. It's a small slight I know, but still.
**The rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean and kept up. Clean microwave and fridge. A/C worked very well.**
Normally, breakfast choices are relatively good, Covid time makes a dent in quality. Still Not thrilled with breakfast choices. The bread items are so hard, like all HIE's, but for the packaged preserved muffins. But coffee and fruit are fresh. Wish they had cranberry juice. *Turkey sausage and egg white mini omelets are a hit with me as is the gravy. No cinnamon rolls or pancakes were available at the time I was there. They do offer instant oatmeal and yogurt, for your fiber and calcium:)
Lastly, I'd like to complain about the microfiber sheets on the bed. (If you are unaware, this area of the country is hot and very humid during the Summer.) I am So not a fan of the sheets they are using that cling to your body. Please bring back 100% cotton sheets and pillowcases along with firm pillows. [Less]
