On Saturday night, July 17, my family and I were about to turn into the Holdiay Inn parking lot when we were hit on our passenger side by another car. Our car was totaled, and we were stranded at the [More] hotel. We didn't know it then, but the biggest blessing was getting stranded at THIS particular hotel. From check in to check out, the staff at this hotel made us feel welcomed, safe, and heard. Orabelle, the food and beverage manager, was everything and then some. She was so understanding and accomodating. Henry at the lounge was always so nice and welcoming. Also, he makes a super yummy margarita. Corey, JoAnn, and the other desk agents were always ready to help with whatever we needed. We ended up being stuck at this hotel 2 nights longer than we had originally planned, and they helped us out because of our crazy situation. I don't know if I'll ever go back to Corpus Christi, but if I do, I will drop in on my friends at the Holiday Inn, because their hospitality is out of this world. [Less]

I stayed in room 510. Hotel seemed old and room needed updating! Lobby looked nice and staff was good. The standing light fixture by the window was rusty on the bottom, desk/cabnet looked old. One of [More] the desk lamps didn't work in my room and few spots in the room had cracks/holes, over by one of the outlets, but not too bad. I would suggest you look over and patch them up! [Less]

Arrived Saturday 3/19/22 check in process was seamless and professional! Our last stay here was an absolute disaster so I was definitely hesitant to give them another chance but after a long battle [More] and taking the issues all the way to the actual hotel owner I promised her I'd give the location another chance and I'm glad we did! We were greeted with respect - staff using ma'am and sir. Room was ready on time and clean!! Beds were fresh and bathroom water pressure was great! They still need some HUGE improvement on the pool area, chairs are all broken cushions are ripped- coping around the hot tub is peeling off. Furniture definitely needs to be replaced. Hot tub was not functioning but we were able to fix it our self. We usually have 4 guests to a room and we come in 2 separate vehicles. I DO NOT like the new parking rule at all. My son was very upset he would have to park his brand new truck on the street which is VERY dangerous right here. We had no resistance whatsoever, when we asked, hotel staff gave us a parking placard for his vehicle this time but I'd like to see that rule changed, instead of Only the person who reserved gets the pass since parking is limited simply limit guests to 2 vehicles. Also we didnt know about the new parking rule until we all got there. Thank you for also enforcing the " NO PET" policy! It was nice not to share the facility with a bunch of dogs. Work on the pool area and parking rules but other than that it was a great stay!! [Less]

Could've been better, but good staf

The AM front desk lady gladly stored our lugged after an unsuccessful early check-in request. Check-in with the PM gentleman was good. He told us what we needed to know. The room was comfortable and [More] reasonably priced for IHG Member rate during peak season. Front desk AM lady was accommodating to our needs since we didn’t get a good night’s rest due to the riff raff family guests that were placed next to us. What could’ve gone better : Check-in gentleman should’ve placed us on the highest or second highest floor as we are IHG members. A really rude guest checked-in before we did. She was being unreasonably rude to PM staff member and held up the line with not-so-smart questions. There was soiled tissue on the lobby floor that greeted us to our room (#101). No toilet paper in the bathroom upon check-in. I would’ve given three stars for the the things that were amiss, but the staff did make effort to offer up a late check-out with a smile! [Less]
