A thriving city with 2.5 million city residents and 5 million people who
call the greater metro area home, Toronto is a famously friendly, vibrant
and multicultural metropolis with abundant charms, sitting on the northern
shores of Lake Ontario. Even during the city’s especially chilly winter
season a bustling vibe survives, so it’s always a good time to book a room
in one of many inviting Toronto hotels. Things to See When you approach Toronto by plane, one of the first things you'll notice
is a tall, slender building jutting dramatically into the sky: The CN
Tower. 1,815 feet tall (about three times taller than Toronto's Space
Needle), it is a must-see for those who love skyward heights. Visit one of
the tower’s three restaurants (Le Café, Horizons and 360) for a delicious
meal, and sign up for the heart-pounding EdgeWalk if you’re looking for
something more adventurous. This guided tour takes you on an open-air,
hands-free journey high above the streets of Toronto while attached via
safety harness to an overhead rail. Gather your family, hop a ferry and head to Toronto Islands and Centreville
Amusement Park, which has roughly 30 attractions perfect for young children
as well as the young-at-heart. Bring your camera; the islands offer
spectacular skyline views and are great options for a relaxing picnic. Eaton Centre, a mall with more than 200 retailers, has serious shopping
bargains. Also visit the city's multiple Chinatowns, admire the
accomplishments of iconic athletes at the Hockey Hall of Fame and travel
back in time at the Distillery Historic District. And don't be surprised if you
make a few lifelong friends cheering on the Maple Leafs at the Air Canada
Centre, or trying your first peameal bacon sandwich at St. Lawrence Market. Hotels in Toronto A host of new Toronto hotels have opened in recent years, maintaining an
extremely welcoming environment for families. There are also quiet venues
providing a serene atmosphere if you’re traveling for business or on a
romantic getaway. Where to Stay Yonge Street is a surging and energetic scene where Eaton Centre and tons
of other businesses are located. West Queen West is a hip, two-kilometer
area known for shopping opportunities, and the Entertainment District is
perfect for theater lovers—be sure to see a show at famed improve comedy
venue The Second City if you stay there. Historic and charming, the
Yorkville neighborhood has luxurious hotel and dining options. If a quiet,
laid-back experience is your ultimate goal, seek hotels slightly outside
Toronto's center, such as Roncesvalles Village or the area around St.
Lawrence Market. How to Get to Toronto Toronto Pearson International Airport is about a 30-minute drive from
downtown. If you’re traveling from elsewhere in Canada or the U.S. east
coast, you may also consider Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. The ninth
busiest airport in the country, it is located on the Toronto Islands,
within the city.

Brampton Holiday Inn Express is my favorite hotel in Brampton
By Ry guy
The staff is friendly and willing to please and I've gotten to know most of them. Brenda does a great job with breakfast. Midnight shift employees Movinder and Ali make coffee by 5:30 and open the[More] breakfast bar for us early birds who need to leave the hotel before 6:30, so I can have juice and cereal with my vitamins. On days where I am there at 6:30 there is always fresh eggs, bacon, sausage and warm rolls & biscuits. I also appreciate Reuben and Amen, who are quick at check in when I arrive and save me a cookie when I work late during the week. They have become my family away from home and I'm thankful for their friendship. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone working or vacationing in Brampton, Ontario. You'll be glad that you did.[Less]
Up to standard

We have stayed at this location various times, while visiting the grandchildren (and parents). We have also brought visitors from the Netherlands to this site.
Beds are terrific and well kept. No[More] problem sleeping here.
There is however some general housekeeping like the rust in the sink (picture attached) that needs to be addressed.
I have checked into various Holiday Inn over 20 times, facilities this year[Less]
always a great stay

Stayed at this hotel several times and it's been excellent. I travel regularly to Hamilton/Burlington area; this has become our go to spot. Rooms are comfy, breakfast is good, pool is enormous, ample[More] parking in front, wifi works well.
Perhaps most importantly, the staff is excellent. As a frequent visitor its very much appreciated to be remembered and taken care of, which the entire staff does well. Alyssa, the front desk manager, was also super helpful and went out of her way to make our stay even better.
Big thanks to Alyssa and rest of Holiday Inn Burlington staff! We'll be back soon[Less]

Very nice and hospitable Holiday Inn.
Judy at the Express bar was always cheerful and fun to interact with in the mornings!
My friend and I stayed there for 3 nights, June 19-21. Good walking[More] distance to hot spots in downtown Toronto.
Overall great experience, would come back to this location in the future.[Less]
Help In A Crisis
By JeffSalisbury
We needed to escape our nightmare AirBnB as neither my fiance nor I, nor our 16mo daughter, could handle another horrible loud night there. Two members of the nightshift front desk staff, Arul and[More] Willie, went above and beyond to ensure we not only had a two queen room that would work for us, but also that it was isolated at the end of the hallway to ensure a quiet space for us and our daughter to get a quiet, long, much-needed sleep. We were in a pinch and Arul and Willie really helped us out, so I want hotel management to contact me back to let me know they will receive something for their exceptional service.[Less]
