After many postponement and cancellations due to the pandemic, finally the staycay happened

It was another typically good (and welcoming) InterContinental hotel stay experience one has come to expect. We are always particular about the pillows we get in the room. I have to admit even after [更多] we have submitted a pre-arrival preference/request prior to the stay (and during all our previous stays here), unfortunately, we have never once gotten the Firm Pillows we have pre-requested and this contributed to the poor sleep quality on each of our stay. Meanwhile, the check-in & out experience was superb and efficiently done. I would like to accord 5*Stars to the group of staff who has been here for years and still truly care for their guests .. keep up the spirit and we love you !! [更少]

Suite Suprise @ Royale Suite (02 to 04 April 2021)

Checked in for a 2 nights stay at Intercontinental Singapore for the Suite Surprise packages and gotten us a Royale Suite for the 2 nights. The suite was amazingly great and located at the [更多] highest level of their hotel! Air conditioning, water pressure, bed quality and furnitures in the suite is definitely a 5 Stars! Not to mention the Club Lounge access experiences were great and wonderful with a team of professionals lead by Miss Ann, Club Intercontinental Manager. We are considering getting another 2 nights of Suite Surprise and really hope we could get the Ambassador Suite or even the Presidential Suite. Thank you once again Intercontinental Singapore for this wonderful Suite Surprise experiences. [更少]

Overall is great as service is excellent with safe distancing restriction. It was a family staycation and the staffs did its best to accommodate to our needs. From arriving to leaving the Holiday Inn Singapore it was an absolutely wonderful experience.. Everyone we were in contact with was so friendly, professional & with any requests nothing being a [更多] problem ! In our view a superb stay! Our daily request of taxi transport was met promptly… our breakfast dining experience was always fabulous with an amazing selection! The staff extremely attentive. Our afternoon Cocktail Bar experience was again superb notably because of the staff .. Roban & KK , being very attentive etc. The reception team with Irwan in particular was exemplary! We would highly recommend this well established hotel. Covid procedures were managed very well throughout the hotel, though a few times in the breakfast buffet area some guests did not wear masks [更少]

We are not frequent visitors of Holiday Inn Orchard, This is our third stay over the past 10 years or so. The one plus point that stands out about this hotel is the quality of service provided by its [更多] staff. In this regard, we wish to express our thanks to Christopher, who was attentive to details about reservations up to providing us with 2 needed "hong bao" even when it was the Christmas season. Kudos to the Banquet and Banquet Sales Team!

I recently had my son's Full month Celebration in the hotel's Orchid Ballroom and had planned everything together with the Senior Business Development Manager of Banquet, Vasanthi. And this [更多] experience working with her was such a delight! Not only were we pleased with the existing birthday packages put forth by the hotel, we were also pleased with how professional, courteous, and accommodating Vasanthi was with us. She had even met with us well past office hours and even when she was not feeling well. Even though the event was planned quite last minute, she had helped us plan everything to the detail according to our requests and even provided us more! On the event day, Not only was Vasanthi there to ensure that our guests and their children were well taken care of, Sufian, the Banquet Manager was there to assure that the operation team catered to all our needs. The set up did started out with a few minutes of delay, Sufian had his hands tied as he was running a bigger event just upstairs and we could really understand the situation. We still had everything arranged properly for my family and for my guests. Vasanthi had even arranged a nice children's corner for us with coloring books to entertain the kids, more than what we would've expecting from her. My family and my guests had expressed how happy they were with the service and how they enjoyed the food. This event was really smooth and made planning for me really easy. Having come from the 5 star hotels as well as banquet industry myself and currently an educator for the hospitality industry, I can definitely say that although the hotel does come with age and Vasanthi, Sufian and Team having to work in a somewhat older establishment, they have their limits in which they could provide exceptional service. But they definitely nailed it with my family and my guest as well as myself. There is a lot from the team at Holiday Inn Singapore: Orchard City Centre that many 5 stars hotel can learn from.
