Tracy Stafford - Excellent Representative of your organization

There were a number of problems/issues involving my first stay in Baltimore. However, Mr Tracy Stafford was extremely supportive, helpful and accommodating during my stay. You can be proud to have staff like Mr. Stafford with your corporation. He made my four day experience a positive one. I would hope that your organization rewards good employees.

Security Breach

I had reservations for 4 days/3 nights and left the 2nd night. The hotel rents cars to Avis/ Budget and anyone can come in and out of the parking lot and do not have to pay. The parking lot is VERY UNSECURE!!! The Hotel makes you place a piece of paper in your car window with your room number on it. Anyone can come in the parking lot act like they are going to rent a car and see the information about your hotel room. They can get on the elevator and go straight to your room without going to the front desk and ROB/KILL YOU or follow you when you leave the parking lot. They are very few cameras in the building. The second night I was there; they gave a man a key to my room and the man knocked on the door to see if anyone was in the room and stated that he has a key, and this is his friend, Moe’s room. Luckily, I had the secure lock on the door. When I called the front desk, she said they were sorry he had the wrong room. I checked out the next morning. I would NEVERRRRRRR recommend this place. I was SCARED for MY LIFE.

Great Place and Staff

I stayed two nights and this place was more than great. Location, staff, rooms, hotel atomosphere and price were perfect. Eric at the front desk was awesome!! Everytime Id see him working I would smile because he is so pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. That guy deserves a big thanks in some way by Holiday Inn. Id definitely recommend staying here.. Any bad reviews are probably from people who don't realize that you are in a Downtown City area and expect it to be Beverly Hills... lol ... have faith in this place.. In-house parking garage was also veryyyyy secure.

Comfortable Bed was the only the best about the hotel experience

Horrible parking situation. Hotel shares parking garage with two other hotels. Paid for parking but no parking spots were available the second night. Front desk said to park outside. No room cleaning/housekeeping due to Covid restrictions or unless you’re staying more than 2 days. Housekeeping could not bring additional towels or clean towels to room due to Covid. Front desk check in was not good. Poor customer service. Harbor restaurant attached to hotel closed earlier than stated-poor customer service when asked anything. It was so distasteful. Would not recommend staying here.

Worst hotel stay in all my 41 years of life

I stayed at this hotel's sister company (Radison) last year this time and had a great experience however the Crowne has their own agenda. I visited Baltimore from Philadelphia visiting family for a gathering and was too tired to drive home. They were the only hotel with availability so I gave it a whirl.

1. It took 3 attempts to get the security guard to allow me into the parking garage. I had to travel back to the main desk all three times after waiting ten minutes each time to get in. This was at 1:30 in the A.M.
2. Once I got into the parking garage I had to park near a pipeline because there was nowhere else available. The pipeline did not allow me to even open my car door to get out. Also there was no security in the hot and darkened garage.
3. None of the guests were wearing masks and none of the staff, including the security guard who was busy on his phone, enforced it.. The lobby was very crowded during the time of 1:30 A.M.
4. My guest card said I was on the 24th floor however the elevator only said to the 22nd floor so once I got to the 22nd floor thinking it was a misprint, I had to return back downstairs only for a guest to tell me my room was on the other side.
5. The hotel staff did not offer me any room compensation for my inconvenience.
6. Breakfast was not offered.

Room Issues

I had a short stay in Baltimore(weekend) but the hotel fell a bit short in a few areas. Bathroom was not checked for repairs needed. Towel bar completely gone, toilet made a flushing sound every 10 minutes during my entire stay. Shower head leaked spraying water everywhere when in use. No bathmat one day, the next not enough face cloths. Due to my activities during this stay, I was not in the room a lot, so didn't have time to call front desk about the issues.
