Worst EVER!

First off.. This Hotel is disgusting! Paint peeling off of walls, Handles missing on cabinets, dirty dirty dirty. Then I arrive home and notice I have either fleas or bed bug bites. Upon arrival, I was under the impression that the hotel had a full service restaurant and a bar. Not the case. I was told that the bar was not open, and they only had 4 items on the menu. In order to "order" food the front staff told me that "they would have to call the Chef". Thank God I passed. Run very far away from this place!!!

Terrible experience

I stayed at this hotel because it was advertised a restaurant was inside…it was closed! The hotel had terrible visible repairs made it look ghetto! Our room had a full length mirror not secured that fell on my 2 year old! The entire night our AC did not fall below 75 degrees and our room was burning up! Hated our experience if I could give zero stars I would!

Just sad

I travel to texas from louisiana a day ahead for my flight decided to check into holiday inn by the airport, the staff was professional,I had problem with the shower tub the water would not drain,but the biggest disappointment was I got a phone call from the hotel the next day that my car was vandalized I was already sad because I was flying to Miami to buried my nephew who got killed in a fatal car accident.At that moment I was upset and devastated they could not give me a lots of details as I question the damage of my car they told I would have to wait until I got so I send someone over there to see the condition of. My car I had a broken glass to my back passenger window it was raining in my car , the hotel did nothing to secure my car

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE

I stayed at the Houston Hobby location and I swear from the day before I arrived until the day I arrived the customer service was above and beyond & I couldn't be more pleased. So let me start by saying I wasn't suppose to get in until 12:55am and I knew that was past check in time. I also thought I would have to check out by 11am So my plane actually didn't arrive until after 2am. On Monday I spoke to Ashley at the front desk she ensured me that my room would be saved and that I didn't have anything to worry about getting in late. So, I received a call as I was landing from the guy on duty, I didn't get his name, but he was making sure I was still coming because it was well after 1am. He told me the shuttle was already outside waiting. I went straight to the hotel, had a room close to the elevator & was given late check out when i called the front desk at noon. I needed the rest because i was going for a medical procedure on my knee & because of the great customer service I received from Ashley and the young man that night I was well rested for my procedure. I have one more procedure left & when I get in I will going back to the same hotel because that's where I know I will receive the best customer service, the bed was wonderful it slept very well & the bathroom was really nice. I loved everything about my stay. great customer service is a plus for me!

Couldn't-care-less customer service!

When I first thought about posting this review, I thought about starting it by saying it's unfortunate that a respectable business's reputation can come down to one bad attitude employee; but after reading other reviews, I realized that the management tolerates the horrible customer service and would rather spend their time responding to negative reviews than attacking the issue.
I stayed at this hotel on the night of April 10,2021 and from the get go I felt unwelcome by the lady at the evening front desk. She didn't make eye contact, you could barely hear her voice, didn't provide adequate information and makes you feel like you're staying there for free. After going through the motions of checking us in, she sent us on our way to a room she hadn't activated the keys to.
I went downstairs, waited in line and got the keys activated and went back upstairs to find that the room had only one bed and we had previously requested 2 separate beds.
With the kind of attitude she had, I dreaded going back to her but I still did, stood in line again and requested a room change. She did it quickly and this time, she put us in a room that wreaked with a nasty stench of cigarette smoke and mold.
At this point, we just surrendered for the night. We still found this smell in our clothes and luggage a couple days later.
And to top things over, when I checked my credit card statement a few days later, I found that I was charged twice even though we stayed in one room.
A couple we encountered on the elevator were complaining about how she illegibly scribbled the wi-fi password on a card and only offered it after they'd asked for it, something that she didn't even bother to mention to us.
It's sad that a hotel is run like this and more so when nothing is done about it.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Hobby Airport was awesome. My check in was quick and informative. My room was clean and the restaurant was wonderful. The two black lady managers made my stay amazing. I will be back soon.

Stayed here for a couple days for business. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Had several meals at the hotel and the food and service were both good. If you want to stay near the airport, would definitely recommend.

Excellent staff do not make up for the overall age and cleanliness

My first impression of the hotel was excellent. Prompt pickup by the shuttle from a nearby, non-airport location, prompt attention at the desk, even acknowleging me when I came in the door with apologies that they would serve me as soon as they could. Greeted as a Platinum member and thanked for my loyalty. I was very happy.
Got to my room and the smell was awful. Immediately turned around and switched rooms. Second room across the hall was only a bit better. After coughing until I choked, I finally changed rooms again. The next had debris on the floor, a few pieces of paper and a jalapeno pepper slice and did not appear to have been vacuumed. I did not alert the staff to the last issue.
This hotel needs a thorough cleaning and a round of updating.
The staff throughout was concerned about my experience and very helpful.
