Hotel need make over

There was loose slate tile in the entryway and cracked an loose in the bathroom. One side of the towel rack look like it could come loose and they tried to fix it before. The tv in the room did not pick up any of the cable channels and took maintenance some time to find use a working tv to replace it with.

Bad

We chose this location due to it being a Holiday Inn and our past experience staying at Holiday Inns and its location. They only provide two towels. Next morning we asked for extra towels for when the cleaning was done. It was at that time they informed us they do not clean or straighten up the rooms each day unless requested. So I requested. They did it the first morning but none after that. The worst was on our last night. Their was a party going on in one of their banquet rooms. Music was load!! Banquet room was on ground floor and we were on the third floor! I was patient but, at 11 p.m. music was still going so I called to complain. Was told they would put a note in my file for the manager. But that the group renting the room had paid for it. I stated that I had also paid for my room and the expectation was to be able to sleep. They said they would note it. Music did not go down till around 1 a.m. Next morning I asked that my room be discounted. They said they could not but would note my request to manager. I have not heard from anyone.

Additional charges they won’t tell me what happened & will never stay at another holiday inn again

I haven pending charges for another 189 dollars on top of the 140 for the overnight stay, only there one night, room was mediocre, front desk guy was so rude, pool was advertised open but was closed and front desk brushed us off, our poor daughter only wanted to swim, dogs were howling and barking all night, neighbors were fighting next to us, was so loud it was like they were in our room. No waters available in the entire building except tap water from the bathroom or the old lemon water sitting out all day that was bitter. False advertising, do not stay here, hopefully I get my money back and not charged over 250 dollars for ONE NIGHT. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I never write reviews but I don’t want anyone else to experience we had to, and being treated so poorly for paying for quality and getting all the amenities as advertised when we didn’t use hardly any. Highly disappointed and was the worst hotel I’ve ever visited. Had high hopes but left so frustrated, tired, and now confused on these additional charges that they can’t find out where they came from.

Last time staying at this location

I have stayed at this location many times, each time is less enjoyable than the last. This is more than likely my last time stay at this location, back to Stay Bridge or Crown Plaza. Its bad enough the dinning area is still closed but to have a Front Desk Manager act as he does, unacceptable. The boiler went out and no notification of this because "sir we only notify the parties checking in at that time" then as I ran out of wash rags I mean rag, I only had one in the room. I requested room service two days in a row for towels, trash, coffee and coffee cups..... no service for the week I was here. Each night I talked to the Front Desk "Manager' he was rude and I agree with the other reviews, you are now treated like a number here. I stay on IHG properties over 200 nights a year.... time to rethink that and for sure I will not stay here again to pay $80 per night and not get treated without respect. Dear hotel manager, you might want to do something about all the complaints on you get on this guy.... hint hint and PS I will be calling IHG in the morning as well.

Going to sleep early would be difficult due to air traffic at ABQ airport and noise generated by planes landing and taking off.

Wonderful staff, very accommodating

ALL of your staff were awesome. Every single one of them. They were very accommodating and so very friendly. The bed was so very comfortable. The meals were fantastic. Was truly happy I selected Holiday Inn for our hotel.
