Siempre que voy a este hotel decido que voy a volver. El personal es muy atento y recuerdan cada cosa que te hace sentir una estancia mejor. La localización es muy buena y las instalaciones recién reformadas. De lo mejor de Fortaleza.

The best hotel in Fortaleza,
Upon check-in with the family, we were informed of the national law regarding child identification proving relationship to the adult guests. Great assistance was given by Amanda who gave us a copy of the federal law, access to the internet, and patient attention. She was very kind but held firm on the requirement. Thank you Amanda.
The children have a play area by the pool that is air conditioned and in the shade during the day. The internet wi-fi at the playground is excellent, we ran two iPads on the free signal.
At night we had a pizza from the restaurant OCapo that had the traditional oven.
We always loved to visit this hotel as a couple because of the location to Fortaleza night life; and now we enjoy it even more with the kids.

We recently stayed at this hotel during the World Cup 2014 and enjoyed everything about this trip. The location is just perfect, it is in front of the beach with beatiful ocean view and very close to restaurants and shops. The staff was amazing and almost all spoke english and spanish. We abosolutely loved our stay and hope to be back to Holiday Inn Fortaleza soon!!

They list one price online and then hit you up with fees once you book. For that kind of money, this hotel is not worth it.

Una excelente ubicación en la Playa de Iracema, cerca de toda la movida de la ciudad y del centro, en uno de los lugares mas seguros de Fortaleza y con todos los servicios cerca. La vista al mar es insuperable y todos los servicios del hotel fueron muy útiles, destaco el área de juegos para niños y la sala para preparar necesidades alimenticias de bebes

i was there for the world cup and did not knew a single word of portugese. The staff there were extremely helpful in guiding me to places. such frendliness i have never seen in any hotel across the globe.

Despite all the chaos going around Fortaleza because of the Wold Cup, we really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn in Fortaleza.
From check-in to check-out, staff was friendly and willing to help and provide recommendations for restaurants and things to do around Fortaleza. Bell staff was quick to notice when someone needed assistance with luggage or hailing a taxi.
Location is a bit far from the airport about 40 minutes away, but the beach is just across the street and there are plenty of good places to eat within a short walking distance. We were right in front of the FIFA Fan Fest (only applies during World Cup).
The room was comfortable and clean. The darkening curtain did a good job keeping sunlight out of the room (perfect after a World Cup game hangover). The furniture was nothing of note, but after a long day, the bed was a very comfortable and welcome respite.
The hotels offers a buffet style breakfast. It includes a great selection of fresh fruit, various local dishes, and omelets. There was plenty of seating even though the hotel was full.
We also enjoyed the swimming pool and steam room. This is was our first experience with a steam room located in an outside area - It is located next to the pool covered by only glass. It gets quit steamy. While we didn't use the gym, it does seem to be a little outdated and small.
Last, but not least. Our platinum status with IHG was recognized and we feel like the hotel actually care. Unlike other properties we have stayed before that could care less - see my review of Holiday Inn Sao Paulo Parque Anhembi during same trip.
My only minor issue was trying to connect to the internet using multiple devices. We didn't have an issue getting the first device to work, but we couldn't get the second and third phone/iPad to work. We had to ask for help with the front desk in order to get our devices set up.
Overall, our stay at the Holiday Inn Fortaleza was a great one, and we would stay there again - hopefully next year. The location can’t be beat and service was definitely top notch.

The hotel is located in Iracema, short distance to turistic areas, shops and restaurants. The room was very big and confortable. The breakfast was nice, with many local options (tapioca, for example), but no fresh fruit juices.

We were so glad that there was always someone at the front desk who spoke English! We really enjoyed our 4 nights there. The breakfast has a great selection of good food. The valet service was so convenient. We never had a long wait for our car to be brought around.
Short walk to the beach. We loved our balcony facing the beach!
