The website won't allow me to post a comment on a review titled "Sharing gym equipment with quarantined guests" so I'll resort to writing another review. My husband was quarantined at this hotel after arriving from the US. He was on the 9th floor while I was on the 7th floor as a leisure traveler. My husband was needing a prescription medicine & I asked the front desk if there's a way for them to get the prescription paper from my husband & give it to me so I can buy him the medicine. I was told that they won't allow anything (not even a piece of paper) to come out of my husband's room since he's on quarantine. I was told though that if I have the medicine, they can bring it to his room. Well, I needed the prescription to buy the medicine & they didn't even make an effort to facilitate this request. Now I read this post about letting dumbbells in & out of a quarantined guest's room? How ridiculous is that? And yes, akrjapilindo, you were right about this hotel mixing covid positive guests with leisure travelers on the same floor. How did I know? Three days into staying at this hotel, I tested positive for covid & I stayed in the same room to isolate. No one ever gave me instructions on how to dispose my trash the proper way, on putting used towels in a bag before putting them outside, no instructions to wear your mask when you open your door to get your meals, etc.The front desk just told me to bring them out my front door & trash stays there the whole day until housekeeping comes late in the evening to clean. Pretty sure covid particles are in the air where leisure travelers walk the hallways day in & day out. Makes me wonder if this hotel should be operating as a multi-purpose hotel. Clearly, the staff is clueless on what to do with quarantined & isolated guests.

NO clear protocol for guests who test positive for Covid

I booked a 1 night stay at this hotel the day before my flight to the US. That same day, I took a swab test as this is a requirement to enter the US. That test was negative. Unfortunately that same day a family emergency happened & I had to cancel my flight & extend my stay at this hotel. After 3 days at this facility I suddenly had itchy throat & runny nose. I thought it was just allergies & never thought that I might have Covid since I am fully vaccinated with a booster shot. Long story short, I tested positive for Covid. The front desk manager named Karen was really helpful. She explained to me that I can't be transferred to a BOQ facility since they are full so I had a choice to quarantine at home or stay at the hotel at my own expense. I chose to just stay at the hotel so I won't infect my family in Paranaque. Karen was able to secure a lower price for my stay that included 3 board meals a day.The meals tasted ok but very small servings - 3 pieces of protein (either pork, chicken or fish), about 2 spoonfuls of vegetables & lots of white rice. No drink. I am not in the hotel business but if they spent about 50 pesos more per meal which I could have happily paid, they could have earned the goodwill of guests. Also, I was in the 7th floor, a floor for leisure travelers & when I inquired what to do with my trash & used dinnerware I was told to just bring them out my front door. No plastic covers or anything. Don't they know that Covid is airborne & guests walk in & out of that hallway? Also, please anticipate the needs of isolated guests. I had to call the front desk everyday to bring my 2 small bottles of water. How about leaving a care package ( water, toilet paper, tea bags, bath towel, etc.) at my door every morning? Was that too much to do? The thing that really got me was the incompetence of the assistant front desk manager. The day before my flight back to the US (I already had my Document of Recovery letter from my doctor & also from the LGU doctor), I informed him that I wanted to get out that day & go to Paranaque to prepare for my flight. He told me to arrange my transport with the LGU of Paranaque. He mentioned that if I had to use a private vehicle, an LGU representative should be in that vehicle. My brother in law was able to arrange all that & when the car with the LGU representative arrived to pick me up, that was the only time that he scrambled to make calls to the LGU of Makati for my release. We were waiting for an hour before informing us that I can't check out that night because we also need an acceptance letter from the barangay of Paranaque. By that time, it was already past 7pm & the barangay office was already closed. Mr. Assistant Front Desk Manager, we had plenty of time to get that letter early that day. If you would have just told me, " In order for you to be released from this hotel, you need this & that" it would have been done! And of course, you also changed what you previously said about transport. It has to be an ambulance who should pick me up with LGU rep in PPE. I spent a thousand pesos to hire the vehicle & the LGU rep had to work overtime just so she can pick me up. I had to pay $520 to rebook my flight (I have the receipt to prove it) but the turmoil that I went through that day was something I'll never forget! I'm writing this long review so my case will never happen again to any guests.

Magnificent Staff

We came on a family trip and had two rooms adjacent to each other. One with double beds and the other a handicapped king Suite, with roll in shower. All the staff was exemplary in every fashion. I did notice one issue with the room with the handicapped roll in shower, the bathroom door opened backwards into the walk way rather than forwards towards the front door. Which made it difficult to get into the bathroom. Otherwise, this is a excellent property adjoining a large mall with direct access. The restaurants in the hotel are first rate as is the staff. Special mention has to go out to the manager, whose name escapes me at the moment and the reservationist Ms. PANGYARIHAN. I would highly recommend this hotel to any wheelchair bound traveler or walker user like in my case. Mobility transport available through wheelmobile. Highly Highly recommended.

Outstanding. A great choice for students and professionals

Check in was quick despite the queue of guests waiting to settle in.

Food was delicious and served hot.

The room was well-kept. The room service and environmental technicians were congenial and polite.

Staff was accommodating. I requested a bag and it was provided promptly.

Internet connection for Spire Elite guests was, as they promised, fast. This was a great help to me since I was working on a project.
