Poor deposit policy

The hotel was ok, but the problem is their deposit policy. They charged us 90€ when we arrived and it's been 2.5 weeks and I still haven't got it back. They said that it can take 2-3 weeks, but there is no reason for this. I don't mind giving my card details to ensure the hotel gets paid for any damages, but taking money for no reason and not returning it is very poor.

I would not return to this property. I found the majority of the service staff to be abrupt, curt which comes across as “you are wasting my time”. Staff was confused on if the morning airport shuttle is free and gave different directions. Carpet in room was stained and appeared dirty. Have always been a big fan of IHG properties and will continue to be but very disappointed in this stay.
Manager too busy to help or care

We were informed upon arrival that the parking garage was closed. We then spent two hours, along with other guests, trying to find parking.
The manager wasn't interested in helping us. The reservation desk sent us down the street to an area that had no parking, just to get rid of us. Upon returning to the hotel we were then told by a different person to park next door at another owned hotel. I got the last spot. Another guest came in while I was speaking to the manager and she told them she didn't have time to help them, before sending them down the street with no parking right in front of me. Unbelievable. If we hadn't prepaid, including for parking, we could have went somewhere else, but we were stuck. Don't stay here.

Ich versuche seit meinem Aufenthalt eine Antwort von irgendeinem Menschen der in diesem Hotel arbeitet zu erhalten.
In den letzten 4 Wochen habe ich 3 Telefonate und 4 E-Mails hinter mich gebracht.
Am Telefon wird man abgewimmelt und auf E-Mail verwiesen? Auf E-Mails wird nicht geantwortet.
Für mich war dies das letzte mal in einem Haus der IHG-Gruppe.

I was booked & confirmed there for one night last week. I get into Frankfurt and try to make my way to the hotel. There is no information on how to do it. I call, but there is only an automated reply that's mostly broken and faded and incomprehensible. I eventually find the shuttle stop, but no shuttle appears. I manage to make my way over to Terminal 2 (challenging because it's closed) and then walk over to the hotel.
The door is guarded by a single guy: "Sorry we are closed, you are re-booked to the Hampton". What the heck ?? No e-mail, no text, no phone call, no message in the app, not even for a Platinum member ?
I understand that the Covid situation is difficult and fluid. That makes good communication all the more important and the hotel failed miserably here.
Actually there was one message in the App: "Earn Points 4x times faster" I suggest spending less resources on spam and more on providing vital information for a booking.

Wir haben über Booking.com eine Nacht vor unserem Flug dieses Hotel gebucht zum Preis von 163 €. Unsere Kreditkarte wurde allerdings mit 192€ belastet! Zu den 163€ kamen noch die unverschämten Parkgebühren von 25€/Nacht und eine angebliche Kaution, deren Höhe uns nicht gesagt wurde. Diese sollte eigentlich nach 14 Tagen der Kreditkarte wieder gut geschrieben werden, was nicht erfolgte. In der Hotelbeschreibung ist dazu auch nichts zu finden.
Das Zimmer war i.O. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis beim Frühstück nicht stimmig. Das Personal ist gelangweilt, die Abdeckungen der Warmspeisen werden von oben her beheizt, so dass man die Deckel nicht anheben kann. Auf den Tischen fehlt teilweise Salz und Pfeffer sowie Abfallbehälter.
Beim Auschecken muss man sehr viel Geduld mitbringen, da auch hier das Personal zimlich gelangweilt arbeitet. Und das bei einem Airporthotel !
