Horrible receptionist

We arrived to the hotel after 4.5 hrs of driving. We were received by a very rude employee at the reception desk. We got the impression that she does not want to be there. She improved her attitude a tiny bit when we threatened to report her the GM. We dropped our belongings in the room and left to spend time with the family. When we came back close to 1.00 am, our room was an ice box. We called the front desk and complained, bless the heart of the receptionist (different one from earlier) who came and checked the blank thermostat to find out it’s broken. She offered to move us to another room, but that was going to take some time. We rejected the offer since we were dead tired.
The room was filthy, hair all over the floor in the bathroom and the floor was sticky. I had to use my own sprays and disinfectant wipes to clean it myself.
The shower did not work well, and I had to ask for bath towels.
It was a very bad experience, there is no way it’s 4.5 stars. I will not give it even 2 stars. I will not recommend it to my family or my friends.

No clean towels

It takes a lot for me to write a review. From the outside, the hotel looks great, inviting atmosphere upon entry, and the front staff I felt was great when we first arrived. The rooms are average, no complaint there, however the walls are extremely thin, we heard conversations through the walls, on both Fri and Sat night, guests were in the halls having very loud conversations which affected our sleep. I almost called management but didnt want to cause conflict. The air quality in the room was very stuffy no matter how much we adjusted the temperature. The water does not get hot, lukewarm at best which is just not ok. The most upsetting was my final day. I watched housekeeping clean all surrounding rooms and waited for them to knock on my door but it never happened. Left the hotel, came back that night to a room that had still not been touched by housekeeping. I called the hotel operator and they stated they received many complaints that rooms did not get clean. I asked for towels as I had no clean towels and they stated they needed to wash towels and would send some up. I waited quite some time then called again, which was after midnight, and asked about the status of the towels and was told the hotel ran out of towels and there were no more towels to be provided. This was just unacceptable. I had to go without showering until I made it home. The cost I paid for this hotel I should have had a decent night stay, with hot water and clean towels. I didnt complain about the hot water, the noise, nor the air quality. I was only there for a few days. Im prior military, Ive been in worse conditions, but im in the US now and I paid good money for all services. They didnt offer compensation or anything for the inconvenience. I would not recommend this hotel.

Never Again!!!

I am a Spire Elite member so typically the front desk people are appreciative of my arrival. Not here!!! Beccy checked me in. I was sent emails telling me my rooms were ready but when I arrived; they were not. That's OK, but then she called me a liar saying that I never got those emails. Then she called me a liar again telling me I only had 3 rooms booked even as I showed her my phone showing 4 rooms. I then asked her why she felt like arguing with me & she just kept calling me a liar. When this was an Omni, I lived there for 3 years, so my memories of the place are wonderful. Not anymore!!! I will NEVER go back there & am thinking of stopping all HI properties.

Great Visit

I checked in very late on 10/17 after seeing my son for the 1st time in 8 months. He had just gotten back from deployment, so I was a bit still emotional at the front desk. I walked in and there she was at almost midnight smiling big. She could see I was upset. She was just so sweet and genuinely cared! Each day I was there I was hoping to see her again because no one topped her customer service for the rest of the week. She is your shining star and should be there more often greeting your customers. As a 1st point of contact she left a wonderful impression on me!
