Thorpe Park is one of Europe's leading Theme Parks just a 25 minute drive away from the Holiday Inn London - Heathrow T5. It is set in 500 acres with a large variety of rides including a choice of rollearcoasters, water rides, an Angry Birds 4D experience, Dodgems, as well as other experiences for those less adventurous. There is also a variety of places to eat and drink throughout the park with an emphasis on certain food venues on healthy eating.

The Royal Windsor Racecourse is set in 165 acres of stunning countryside on the banks of the Thames and in the Shadow of Windsor Castle. Flat racing takes place here 27 times a year from April to October, including the famous Monday night racing. Eton College is an English independant boarding school located in Eton, near Windsor. It educates over 1,300 pupils aged 13 to 18 years. It was founded in 1440 by King Henry VI as 'The King's College of our Lady of Eton besides Wyndsor' making it the 18th oldest HMC school. It is a full boarding school, which means all pupils live at the school. It is most popular for its long list of distinguished former pupils including David Cameron, Prince William and Price Harry.

The Shard is an 87 storey skyscraper standing approximately 309 meters (1,014 ft) high and the currently the tallest building in the European Union. You can go and visit London's highest viewing platform offering 360 degree panoramas, one of its popular Restaurants and Bars (make sure to book with plenty of time in advance) or the Shard Arcade. It is also home to some offices as well as the Shangri La Hotel.
