As a guest of one of our Holiday Inn Express® New Orleans hotels, you'll enjoy the rich history, great music and diverse culture and cuisine of Louisiana's most celebrated city.
Hop on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar and tour the beautiful Southern mansions of the Garden District or spend the day - if not your entire New Orleans hotel stay - wandering the charming streets of the French Quarter. There's art and antiques on Royal Street, trendy boutiques and gift shops on Magazine Street and lively street performers and musicians in Jackson Square. Enjoy a cup of chicory coffee and fresh beignets on the patio of Café Du Monde or duck into one of the Quarter's seemingly hole-in-the-wall restaurants for authentic Creole gumbo and spicy jambalaya. Bourbon Street can be a bit of a tourist trap during the day, but once the sun goes down, New Orleans' famous party district earns its reputation.
Enjoy sugary-sweet rum hurricanes and authentic New Orleans jazz as you dance the night away in Bourbon's legendary bars and clubs.
If you're willing to venture out of the city center during your stay at our New Orleans hotels, stop by one of the above-ground cemeteries. St. Louis is the oldest (dating back to 1789), and its hauntingly beautiful tombs have been featured in major Hollywood movies and works of fiction. Tour groups are your best and safest bet here; although, carriage tours of the cemetery can be a real treat. New Orleans carriage drivers are all certified tour guides, and their knowledge of the city's history and culture, as well as their local flavor and spin are far better than any travel book.
Of course, this is only a sampling of what the Big Easy has to offer our New Orleans hotel guests. Time your visit during Mardi Gras or Jazz Fest to experience the lavish and boisterous festivals that make this city so special.

I usually stay at another hotel when I fly out of New Orleans. Found this one while looking for another hotel. Christian checked me in and was very helpful with the surrounding places of interest.
He[More] made the stay very pleasant. Ms. Linda took me to the airport and was very entertaining for the short drive. When I returned at the end of the week Christian was the desk clerk again. Remembered me by name. Again this will be my hotel of choice when flying out of New Orleans.[Less]
The breakfast was limited and not very hot. They need to check temperature of items and have more choices.[Less]
Good Location to the Airport
The VooDoo BBQ restaurant was really good. This hotel is new and close to the airport.[Less]
Fun Getaway at a great value
I stayed at this property for 2 nights and from when I arrived, the Concierge, Nicki, was absolutely wonderful! She provided excellent service and was very helpful! She was a great and refreshing[More] person to deal with during my stay. Nicki was there the entire weekend I was there and she always had a smile on her face. Hotel Indigo has a great employee in Ms. Nicki. My room was on the 6th floor and it was very comfortable and clean. No issues or concerns about the room. The hotel is only a street car ride to the French Quarters. Very conveniently located. I would recommend this hotel.[Less]
Nice Hotel in Garden District
By Susan Road Tripper
We wanted to stay in the Garden District while in NOLA. Having stayed at Indigo in Nashville, we looked forward to similar amenities. Indigo delivered again. Perfect location - walking distance to[More] Commander's Palace and the stately homes in the District AND right across the street from the trolley stop to downtown. Hotel staff are very professional and helpful. Good value. Hope to get back soon.[Less]

Not much charm but it's a tremendous bargain. Parking lot right outside the door; decent breakfast. Very handy to the SuperDome if that's your thing. I was VERY happy with it as I was traveling alone[More] and just glad for the reliable and economical place to stay. It's about a 10-minute walk to the edge of the French Quarter, but definitely not all that handy if that's your
