Relax in one of our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Norwich. In minutes you'll be wending your way through medieval streets or ducking into a welcoming pub.
Our Norwich hotels are just minutes from the imposing Norman keep of Norwich Castle. Explore the arched interiors of the keep, then descend to street level and wind your way to the Norwich Market. One of the largest in the U.K., the Norwich Market has stood on this site for nearly a thousand years, and stalls selling everything from jewelry to roast hogs continue to do a brisk business. Hunt for bargains like secondhand books and vintage clothing from among the nearly 200 market stalls. Look for the spindly spire of Norwich Cathedral, a few blocks northeast and close to our hotels in Norwich, which extends majestically skywards and can be seen from all over the city.
As a guest at our Norwich hotels, it's easy to grab a quick bite in a Norwich Market food stall. Or head over to Prince of Wales Road, which has a large number of inexpensive restaurants selling everything from Greek food to curry. Norfolk's dry weather means that the city dines alfresco whenever possible. Gastropub beer gardens are the perfect place to enjoy some of the region's top-quality craft beers on a sun-splashed afternoon.
Book a stay in our Norwich hotels to explore nearby Norfolk Broads. This massive area of shallow rivers and lakes is dotted with windmills and is the perfect place to take a quiet trip out on the water and see the unique birds and animals that call the Broads home. Enjoy the calm peace of Norfolk's backcountry, within minutes of our hotels in Norwich.
Great first impression upon checking in. Chap on the front desk in the evenings was genuinely excellent throughout our stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom facilities were again clean and[More] up to date. Bed was a touch on the soft side for my taste but still slept fairly well throughout. Great location having the use of the Virgin active health club next door as well as an ASDA supermarket opposite. Really nothing to complain about and would definitely stay again when in Norwich on business.[Less]

We were only staying one night and were expecting quite basic accommodation, but were quite surprised at the quality of the hotel, the room and the facilities available. The staff were friendly the[More] breakfast adequate and the overall value for money very good. The hotel had free wifi, which is now important albeit the signal was not great and only basic browsing possible. Overall a good experience I would happily repeat in the future.[Less]
good overnight stay and parking
Good place to stay and park when flying from Norwich Airport. The taxi service was very good and on time. It was good value for money.[Less]
dining room staff very friendly
Apart from shortcomings already mentioned, the stay was OK, but the matresses could be improved.[Less]

A memorable stay at IHG's Norwich, good food and the profssional friendly staff couldn't have been more helpful when I realised that I had mislaid my wallet. I was assured that, although my credit[More] cards were now missing, there would be no problem with the bill, and it would be sorted. A full search of my room, communal areas and car park resulted in it being found, and returned to me. I would reccomend this hotel to all memebers of my team.[Less]
Thoroughly enjoyable break with former colleagues
The second this year of a twice yearly Pensioner Break Weekend. Holiday Inn's are our current Hotel of Choice, providing excellent value for money. As usual, my Wife and I found the Accommodation,[More] Staff, and the Food first class.[Less]
