You need to visit the aquarium, the historical downtown area, walk the boardwalk or maybe drink Torito regional drink and eat crab tostadas. Another place to visit is the recently renovated Boca del Rio´s down town and enjoy a beautiful view to the Jamapa river or if you prefer our traditions please don’t miss Veracruz down town with the famous typical dance "Danzon" at Los Portales.

Don't leave the beautiful Veracruz, without savoring some regional ice cream. Try a cafe lechero and canilla bread at the La Parroquia restaurant, and then visit the arts craft market. You may buy some beautiful souvenirs for your friends and family. Why not try a Torito with peanuts or coconut.... traditional digestive drink.

When visiting Veracruz in spring or summer we recommend you travel with fresh cotton cloting, pack sun block and confortable shoes. If visiting in fall or winter a light jacket or sweater is fine for the evenings. Don't forget to try the regional food, expecially the gorditas and picadas, made with corn and served with different salsas. Our seafood is the best in the region.
