Upon arrival @615 pm went to check in and our room was not ready. Had to wait for 30 minutes before we were able to get into room. When we went to room we found it had a strange odor. We were also told there was no h housekeeping to refresh rooms daily and would have to ask for towels when needed. Breakfast on 6-11 the variety was fine but there were no plates available for use. We had to make due with bowls. Garbage was overflow due to staff shortages. Hotel was sold out so many people were coming down for breakfast. We were gone most of the days but when coming back in on the 11th &12th my keys didn’t work each time and have go back to the desk to fix that. Also that evening the ax stopped working and had to have fan brought to use and maintenance would have to look at it. And since the hotel was sold out again there was no where go. On Sunday morning we headed to breakfast to find out there wasn’t any plates again and no gravy to go with the biscuits and poor Ezra was working the kitchen and dinning room alone. Of course was catching grief from the guest and was trying to accommodate the people with what he had. I have to stay Ezra was the bright light to the whole weekend at the hotel. He was the one that came to my room at 1130 pm to look at the ac and then came back with the fan. He’s also the one the finished getting our room ready upon arrival. How can you expect to give great service when there is only 2-4 people working the entire hotel. The desk person couldn’t even tell me if anyone had looked at the ac while we were out. I want to say that I blame this on management for providing the appropriate staff and products needed to take of the hotel guest. With the hotel sold out each night I was there disappointed with my experience. Again, I would like to commend Ezra for trying to go the extra mile for me and my family.

Erica was very helpful throughout my stay. Anything i asked at the desk, she got for us or had someone else get it for us.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times while travelling on business. The front desk is always welcoming, the rooms always clean, and the breakfast buffet always well-stocked. The buffet could have a little more varieties of fruit or cereals, but overall was very impressed. It's located right off of the main street through Ripley and is very near the exit to the highway. I will continue to stay at this location for future business trips.
Charged Twice for our stay........

We prepaid for our stay over the Memorial day weekend. I noticed that our credit card had been charged again and I went to the desk on Monday, May 27th to ask for the charge to be taken off. I was assured that the charge had been removed. Today, June 1st, I noticed that the charge had gone through on our credit card and called to speak to the front desk. Once again I was assured that the manager Sally would take care of the mistake. I asked for Sally to call me when she arrived to work. An hour passed and I called the hotel again and was told that Sally was not in until Monday. This is a $540 charge that I was told was taken care of before we left the hotel on Tuesday the 28th of May. I guess I have to call the corporate phone number to make sure the credit is made to our credit card.

The room was perfectly adequate, but rooms on the 2nd floor are less pet friendly than on 1st floor. Don't like air fans that go on and off during the night.
Hot food breakfast choices close to inedible. Cereals ok.
Coffee good.
Staff adequate.
Bed comfortable. Good shower.
Fantastic hotel, but out of the way.

This was probably one of the nicest Holiday Inn Express's I have stayed in. Everything was updated and the rooms were as clean as can be. The staff was courteous and pleasant. The only downfall of this particular hotel is the location.

As always, Holiday Inn Express proves to be a perfect place to stay for business or pleasure. Courteous staff and great customer service. I would definitely stay here again.

I frequently have to book rooms for my employees when doing a project that requires an overnight stay. I enjoyed speaking to the booking agent/front desk agent. She was friendly, funny and efficient. I have do book rooms site unseen and expect my men to have a pleasant stay w/a good breakfast. This hotel met my and their expectations and we will be staying there again.

The Ripley Holiday Inn Express is a very nice and clean hotel. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast has a good variety of good tasting food.
This is a nice hotel in a great location.

The first time we stayed here, several years ago, we were impressed with the hotel. We were pleased to be able to return for another nice stay.

The new and improved services and amenities are great! The bed was very comfortable and the room clean as a whistle! We also enjoyed the big continental breakfast offered which included bacon, sausage, gravy, many cereal choices and gravy!!
