Broken Door

The door lock was broken and maintenance couldn’t even get us into our room. The desk clerk made no effort to accommodate us. So I guess stay here and pray there isn’t an issue because they don’t care.
Many Problems

I was charged with the $25 incidental fee, and it has been over a week and I have not received this money back. I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to get in contact with the front office, and I have not received a response yet. While I was there, the room was not clean, and there were several stains left on the bed side tables. Not to mention, the towel rack continuously fell off the hinge while I was there which was frustrating. Overall I would not recommend this place.

I booked this room because I wanted to take the Ferry to NYC and was suprised when I arrived, as I checked in I saw the free shuttle to the ferry terminal that left every 2 hours so I made a reservation. I only found out later that the shuttle only brought you back at night. I was pressed for time and could not stay until night, so I decided to drive to the ferry terminal myself only to ride around for approx an hour looking for parking as all the lots were full. So I never got to visit NYC, I know this is not a fault of the hotel but if you are offering shuttles make them more convienient.Also we had trouble with the a/c in our room, they tried to fix but it did not work properly the rest of the evening

there was a very good variety of foods to chose from for breakfast. The coffee was very good. The food and beverages were nicely set up. The breakfast room was very tidy.

Good comfortable stay at an affordable price. The staff are friendly and helpful. Accessible to areas on Staten Island.

Checking into this Holiday Inn went quickly and easy. Hotel room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast area is located in the basement, but had plenty of sitting and options over food.

I wouldn't take the family to the area and stay there. The rooms were far too small. The bathroom did have an excellent shower. Too often I stay in hotels where the shower head is horrible, or the tub is way to small to even stand in. Courtesy of the employees was spot on.
