We were charged for double nights even though they placed us in a room with a broken a/c. They transferred us to another room. Left me to transfer everything on my own along with my mother that’s in a wheelchair. The new room did not have a roll in shower. When I asked the front desk she stated I was lucky to get that room. My mom had to go the entire stay with no shower. When contacted management she stated they don’t offer assistance with luggage and that was my problem. We definitely won’t be returning!

Upon arrival we could not get in. The doors were locked because we arrived late. I was charged twice for the same night when I clearly stated on my booking I would need an early check in. They gave us a room with a broken a/c. My mom sweat the entire night which was bad because she has epilepsy. Had to load my mother up who’s in a wheelchair and move all luggage on my own. The new room did not have a roll in shower. When I called about it. Front desk told me they had a hard time finding that room so basically be grateful even though it was not functional.

Booking was easy, the rooms were clean- I appreciate that. However, the customer service should be adjusted some. Particularly the employee with highlighted hair on Saturday evening on July 3rd. I didn't catch her name. Jacuzzi was cold, I asked maintenance man if he was able to adjust temperature (I am used to a Jacuzzi being hot) he said that is as "warm" as it could get. Another guest asked this employee that I referred to above to adjust it, she did but she acted like we made her do something that was less important than her personal call she was on. I then asked my daughter to ask them if they can refill the pool towels, she was also bothered by this and did not give them to my daughter, instead said "they're in the bathroom", there wasn't any. I ended up going to ask for them, at this point it was now 2 employees, just sitting on their phones. No guests but me in the front lobby. I asked them to refill it and they said how many do I need, there was a baseball team of parents and children in the pool area, the towels could have been refilled. For the price we pay at this hotel, that should have been something they stayed on top of. I asked that employee, if they don't feel the need to refill or upkeep the pool area (common areas) after housekeeping leaves for the day? She responded with "No" as she waved the other employee to help shoo me off. She was on a personal call AGAIN! This employee sure is their to only collect a paycheck, personally what keeps me returning to a hotel is the hospitality and cleanliness. I will say that the morning employee, that same day, was phenomenal. She kept every table clean, took care of guests checking in and out, replenished items as needed. She was wonderful. I did have to ask for more bath towels several times before they were delivered to my room. I am glad that the area in Pasadena offers other hotel chains that I will give a try. This is one I will not return to. I have been before, pre- pandemic, even booked them for my wedding day to get ready, and they were great. Maybe, if customer service is not your thing, then go work somewhere else where people are not a part of your job description. If this lady had been more involved with the guests, this rating would have easily been a 5 star. Breakfast was basic, I do believe that several hotels kept the pandemic policies in place and don't seem to have plans on going back. I would assume because it is cheaper for them this way.
