Payment Issues, Ignored Room Preferences, No Status Acknowledgment, Dirty Pillows

Booked this room under my company credit card on accident, but called the day after to have it switched to my personal card. Upon check-in it was told to me there was no record and there was a deposit taken out on my company card, so I had the front desk attendant try to switch it. He said he was unable but that he would have the GM do it prior to checkout. At checkout it was told to me that it was going to be charged to my personal card, but again this was obviously untrue as it still went through on my company card.

If this Credit Card Issue didn’t happen I would’ve normally overlooked the other issues experienced, however, I am pretty upset with this stay and have yet to get a call back from the GM regarding getting my payment correct. So I will also note that upon getting to the room I had to go down and swap out the pillow cases because they had black/grey stains all over two of them. On top of that our room preferences were completely ignored since I always request to be away from the elevator, but we were the absolute closest room to it. Both myself and my girlfriend didn’t sleep well at all because of the noise from people coming/going. I also did not receive my welcome points for being a Spire Member, or any recognition of this status at all.

I have already started to switch over to using other hotel groups for all of my business travel, and after this I think there’s a good chance that I will switch over completely.

Great Stay Bad Service

had a great stay, front desk was wonderful and super helpful, rooms were great and breakfast choices were also very well. however, my young son accidentally forgot a bag in our room and when we called not more than 24 hours to report it, we were told nothing was turned in and the GM would call us first thing the next morning. So far no calls after several messages and emails, not even a courtesy call to say we are working on it. the bag was full of electronics so very expensive and a little assistance would be appreciated by the manager at the hotel but we have gotten nothing. we know someone has it due to "find my device" being turned off and a password change, this is very discouraging the lack of honesty from the cleaning staff and the lack of help from management, will never stay again
