Overnight stay while traveling

We had an okay stay but were concerned when we walked in the lobby and it smelled strongly of old cigarette smoke. Luckily that was the only place we encountered that but it definitely was not a good first impression. We got to our room late so in preparation to go to bed, we turned the air down on the wall control but it never came on. We used the power button on the unit under the window and it came on but never cooled down very much. So glad we always travel with fans! The floor of the shower was extremely slippery! The employees that we encountered were very pleasant and we can’t comment on breakfast as we didn’t eat at the hotel. We would have no problem staying at this location again, just need to bring our fans and be careful in the shower!!

Hotel not clean

First, I have never been to a Holiday Inn and experienced these type of problems. The first thing I noticed when I arrived at the property was the overflowing garbage can near the front door, which I thought was pretty disgusting as well. I also noticed that there were dried up stains on the lobby floor. When I got ready for bed, we noticed there was a brownish stain on the bed quilt. I immediately called downstairs to let the staff know. The staff indicated that she could not provide me with another room because the hotel was booked. She stated she could give us another quilt for the bed. We received about 3 different quilts that all had stains on them as well. We all slept in the one bed without the stains, which was not comfortable. In the morning I spoke with a manager, and explained to her the problems that I experienced. She apologized, and discounted my room.

Worst hotel ever would never recommend

The absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at. When we originally booked online we booked a 1 bed king room. After we checked in and got to the room we see that they put us in a 2 queen bed room. I told the front desk clerk that we booked a king size bed and he told us that there wasn’t any and the website had sold us a room that wasn’t available. I asked for a refund and all of a sudden a room became available. The room was clean and we had a direct view of the swimming pool. The swimming pool was disgusting. It was filled with algae and debris. It looked like it had not been cleaned in months. The next morning we went down for breakfast and the food was cold. Shortly after we got back into the room we here a banging at the door. She said it was housekeeping but I didn’t order housekeeping and they wouldn’t give any additional information. When we went down to check out we informed the front desk clerk about the banging at the door and she said it is there policy to remind people to check out on time. I have never heard of that and I have stayed with this chain on several occasions. The knock was well before check out. When I asked for my receipt she said it should have been on the floor because it was put under the door. After I tried to tell her it wasn’t she then told me that I couldn’t have a receipt. This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone there are different hotels in the area that has better service.

Best staff

Staff member Dawn and Quinetta went beyond to make me and my sister in law stay one of the best, their professionalism and customer care service was outstanding. I am building a home in Warner Robins, GA and have to travel back and forth, Warner Robins has a number of hotels but the reason i stay is the treatment each guest feel when these young ladies work, as if you are the only guest, they always have kind words as you pass through the lobby, and they are always well groomed. All the staff are wonderful, but these ladies stand out.

Disappointed

We stayed at this hotel 2/7 and were so happy that we
were excited to return
What a surprise it was to find that our second stay on 2/22 was very different. The staff was sullen, unfriendly
and borderline rude. The exception was one young man who checked s out on February 23. He was cheerful, helpful and friendly. He is also the young man who checked us in on February 7.
We were not greeted as members, in fact we weren’t really greeted at all, we were not given a welcome bag.
When I came down for coffee in the morning, the lady at the desk sort of mumbled a good morning.
Even though the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is good, the attitude of the staff colors the stay. I doubt that we would stay there again or recommend it.

No AC-Poor Management

I stayed at this location for 2 nights. Upon arrival the room was very hot. We turned the AC down and went to bed. The next morning the room had gotten even hotter and it was apparent the AC was not functioning. I notified the front desk and was told this would be fixed. We left for the day and when we returned at 10pm the AC was still not functioning at all. Thinking there was nothing I could do at 10pm we went to bed. The next morning the front desk staff asked if the room had been fixed and I advised it was not that it was now 75 degrees in our room. I was told by the lady working the desk to call Monday morning and ask for a comped room as the managers do not work weekends. I called This morning and was told that they do not comp rooms under any circumstance and I should not have been told that. The front desk manager seemed to be blaming me for not demanding the staff to call her during my stay or asking for a new room. They did offer to give me some rewards points, but not enough for a full stay to be covered as the manager said "eventually you'll have enough points for a free nights stay". The manager did not seemed to be concerned about my stay what so ever. I also had issues with the dryer not drying my clothes. I was told I could walk to a gas station or store to get change for my dollar bill to finish drying my laundry but I am 32 weeks pregnant, not familiar with the area, and did not see a gas station in sight. I ended up blow drying my clothes so I had at least dry socks and underwear for the day. Again the manager said they should not have told me that but I could have asked for my stuff to be dried in a hotel linen dryer. It seems like she was blaming me for any issue I had.
