Hearing the City of Birmingham’s Orchestra at their home in the Symphony Hall. With 2,262 seats and about 270 events a year it is not to be missed. Symphony Hall, widely considered one of the finest in the world, was designed by Percy Thomas Partnership and Renton Howard Wood Levin with its interior being modelled upon the Musikverein in Vienna and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.

The Bullring is a major shopping area of Birmingham. It has been an important feature of Birmingham since the Middle Ages, when its market was first held. The current shopping centre is one of the busiest in the United Kingdom. It houses one of only four Selfridges department stores, the fourth largest Debenhams and Forever 21.
