Terrible stay quality.

Got to the hotel and waited over 10 minutes for front desk to show up, when they did finally come the girl told me it would be $33.xx for the room(I had used points) so I let her know it should only be $20. Had to wait another 10 minutes on top of the previous wait for the other lady to be able to help her. At this point the first had already tried running my card 2 times and started telling me I would need another card to use the room. Other lady finally came over so I showed them both they had charged my card the $20 for the room over night at which point I get another notification that they had tried a 3rd time(6:47). They finally agree to let us into the room and make note of it being all good to go(or at least say they are). We get our keys and it’s a 2 queen room, I had booked a king room with walk in shower. I assume that maybe the king had over booked on the app and we go to our room just happy to be away from the best, at this point it’s been over a half hour. At 11:04 they tried to charge my card a 4th time and SOMEONE else was booked into our room. They opened the door and thankfully I had just flipped the little latch on the wall. I called the front desk and that girl tried telling me I was in room 230, we were most definitely in room 222, she then proceeds to tell me that my card didn’t go thru and I let her know it definitely did and I had already shown the other ladies when I checked in. Now it’s been 4 days and the $20 is still on my card pending and as sweet as the day lady(she was the best thing this hotel had going for it our entire stay) was I cannot say I would recommend this hotel to a flea. Definitely the worst stay I’ve had at a holiday inn. A waste of 34,000 points for a 2 star mediocre stay because of employees. Would have given room and comfort 5 stars if we didn’t have the room booked while we were in it. Definitely took the sense of security away.

We had two rooms with our reservation. Both rooms upon entering were not cleaned properly. Neither room had been swept or vacuumed. Our room had clothing tags, dirt, ladybugs, food, hairs, and other various items on the floor. We requested a room change, while the other party had the management vacuum their floors - we arrived too late in the night. We were told we were the 3rd complaint on the same housekeeper. Both rooms had items left in the fridge/freezer. We were moved to another room. The second room was better, but not great. We had hairs in the bathtub and the bathroom and the freezer was dirty. No one showed up to cook breakfast on the first morning we were there, so packaged items were served. Management tried, but they lack help and cleanliness. The second night was loud with people running and banging on the walls/floors until 12:30 am.

We usually stay at Holiday Inn Express when we travel. I must say this one is the worst we stayed at. Not that it was all bad ,but when I checked in, the room we got was in bad shape. For advertising being recently renovated, There was black mold in the shower. The microwave was dirty and there was a smashed cookie on the floor. Not my idea of Covid clean. I went back to the desk and got another room. Same 4th floor but different room. This room was better , but the shower still had soap scum in places. We always pack Lysol spray just in case. Here again, not my idea of clean let alone Covid clean. Have the pictures to prove it.
The rest of the motel was nice. The breakfast wasn't the usual but during these times it was good. A nice selection. employees were friendly.

We absolutely loved staying at this property. The hotel was beautiful inside and out! It had evidently been a Holiday Inn before being converted to a Holiday Inn Express and everything had been refurbished. The hotel staff is exceptional, very friendly and professional, rooms were very nicely decorated and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the fresh baked cookies at the front desk and the complimentary breakfast in the morning. It is not your usual hotel breakfast, they had lots to choose from including a variety of hot food. We just happened to stop here on the way to Gatlinburg, TN and what a nice surprise. I would definately come back!

I arrived at 3:30 a.m. after airplane cancellations, etc., and Adam, the night manager/clerk, showed me great consideration and hospitality. In fact, the whole staff there (incl. Trey, Eric, Jess, the people preparing breakfast) are far and away the friendliest and most accommodating hosts.
After years of staying in Hampton Inns, etc., this was a real surprise and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Incorrect billing statement

The manager overcharge my room stay without contacting me. He billed me several days later the difference from what the reservation room rate was and what the Holiday Inn Express front lobby hotel staff agreed to give me (the Blocked room rate). The manager said "too bad" and I had to call the Holiday Inn Express Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The customer service was excellent and called the Geoergetown Holiday Inn Express hotel to issue me a credit. I appreciate the understanding of the customer service agent. I would not recommend the Georgetown Holiday Inn Express but I am sure other Holiday Inn hotels are OK.

A perfect home for sightseeing in Lexington and surrounding communities. Friendly staff and very, clean hotel with soothing decor and lighting. Very consistent breakfast choices and greeting by service staff.

We showed up at 11pm to get a room. We where greeted by Alex at the front desk. He was professional and courteous. Handled a small issue with a room toilet not working by getting us another room immediately across the hall.

We have stayed a this HIE * times in the past year going to and from Fl. and are planning to stay there again in Nov. and Dec. Its a great place to stay we give it a 5 in all catagories. Pleanty of places to eat nearby and a Wal-mart right next door if you forgot any thing for you trip.

This property is very clean and well maintained. New hotel that is 5 years old but looks like it just opened yesterday. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Our early departure was accommodated by the breakfast staff and we had hot breakfast each morning.
All the staff was very friendly and kind.
Many restaurant choices and shopping choices within just a few blocks.
We will definitely be staying here again soon!
