No rest for the weary

First morning I was there, a carpenter was putting down carpet. Tons of banging for hours. Upon leaving I stepped right in the carpenters glue as it was immediately outside my door. No apologies. I brought breakfast back from the nearby Dunkin. The fumes from the glue out in the hall made it impossible to eat.
That evening, I requested a late check out from the night manager. She happily agreed to a 1 PM checkout since it was not busy. I set my alarm for 12 but the morning manager arrived at my door at 1120 AM banging loudly and he was very angry. He told me I needed to leave. I advised him of my conversation with the night manager. He shook his head and told me that I had to be out at 12. I got immediately in the shower whereupon the maid started banging on the door. I got out and told her I was leaving ASAP. I have never had treatment this bad by anyone in my life. This young man needs to be trained properly and the associates who work here need to communicate with each other. So happy to leave this hotel and catch my plane back home! Worst hotel visit ever!

Overbilled and false charges

Our attempts (8 phone calls) to contact the G/M (Ken) of this Holiday Inn Express to correct two mis-billing errors has gone without response. Our initial reservation for 2 days through Booking.com confirmation # 1645.879.622 was increased an extra day with the hotels confirmation 225257745. The hotel claimed they could not provide a final bill because they said there printer wasn't working even though the four other couples with us received their printout. To make matters worse the hotel charged us an extra $138.51 claiming we were a "no-show" which is a lie. This hotels response to problems is absolutely zero.

Pro: very clean, good location, refrigerator, very comfortable bed
Con: child-sized toilet, very small bathroom, small sink, very small & crowded kitchen area, cold scrambled eggs, only one elevator for guests and staff.
