Clean and comfortable room

Hotel is modern and clean. However, the area where it's located is very industrial and a bit run down. But, this by no means reflects on the hotel itself. It is not within walking distance from the city center, however, there is a mall very close by. Rooms are spacious along with the bathroom and shower. Parking is costly and is not included with stay. However, breakfast is included and is very good. It is a very American style hotel which will be appreciated by most vacationers.

Zimmer ok, Service vor allem beim Frühstück schwach bis schlecht. Frühstücksraum zu kalt (Klimaanlage). Laufender Fernseher um 08.00 h mit Mr. Obama, Eine Kaffemaschine ausgefallen, große Warteschlange der Gäste vor der Maschine, kein Bemühen im Service erkennbar, dass die Maschine repariert wird, keine andere Maschine verfügbar.

This was the best for location everything was in walking
distance from the hotel lots to do .The Hotel did not serve
dinner, but no need lots of good Resturants right near by.

Usual hol inn standards good clean friendly staff.
My only recommendation is to have some outside seating so if you want to have a cigarette with your beer from the bar, and relax after a long days travel, in the morning people were sitting on some rocks at the front of the hotel to smoke, this did not look nice.
Do not read this as if the only problem I had was to smoke cigarettes there were may other people wanting to sit outside.

Good value, clean and comfortable

The staff were particularly welcoming and check in and out was a breeze.
The room was clean and comfortable although the water pressure in the shower is a bit on the low side.
Parking near the hotel seems to be a problem and is recommended to try and reserve a secure parking slot when booking.
The location is convenient to the Autoroute and has a number of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance in the Odyssium shopping complex.
I would certainly use again if in the area.

Buena experiencia en Montpellier

Personal atento elegantes y con idiomas,
La ubicación muy bien para la salida a la autopista y enlazar con otras ciudades y alejada del centro de la ciudad, si bien conectada con transporte publico.
Habitación confortable y limpia, lavabo completo, falta un armario y a la cama principal muy cómoda le faltaba una sabana ya que había edredón directo. Televisión grande y con canales internacionales, la wifi con buena recepción.
El desayuno bueno y si bien fallaban uno de los dispensadores de café, se mejoraría mucho con algún complemento caliente sobre todo de huevos fritos o tortilla,
Dispone de una piscina exterior pequeña y acogedora que no fue utilizada.
Recomendable para asuntos de trabajo especialmente.
No defrauda a los que ya hayan disfrutado de otros hoteles de la cadena, en mi caso Valencia y Madrid.

cheques vacances not accepted and not mentioned at reservation time

i was very surprised and would have changes my reservation type when I discovered that I couldn't pay with cheques vacances, which is a very popular and safe way to pay hotel rooms in france. I would have saved 25% of my expense. Additionally I had to pay on my arrival the entire fee for my stay, it is very strange business approach a i am being a Platinum member for many years.
I will not recommend the IHG hotel in Montpellier to my entourage ( personal and business) due to these strange business behaviour which apply to all the hotels of this area.

Good service with a smile!

This is an ideal hotel to stay in for a short visit but try to arrive after having had your meal elsewhere or while the surrounding bistros are still open as the hotel can only provide ready meals warmed up by the Reception who may not have any catering experience!
Everything else is as good as you'll need.

Get up early if you want breakfast

This is one of the best Holiday Inn Express that I have used. However, last Sunday, there most of the breakfast buffet was gone by 9.30 and there was nothing left by 10.00. The coffee machines could not cope with the number of guests. Breakfast is supposed to go on until 10.30, late risers got nothing and the staff just vanished.

New hotel with very friendly staff, regular well equiped H.Inn Express standard rooms.
Easy reaching the center by tram.
Close to entertainment complex with a choice of restaurants.
Good breakfast.
All together, nice place!
