Not a typical experience for us with IHG - poor

We always stay at IHG - Holiday Inn hotels. In fact, last year, we stayed over 16 times for travel throughout the Southeast, and I am a Gold Elite member. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of our room this past weekend. There was a literal wad of hair in the shower on the door hinge (hard to miss), a lovely short hair on the toilet, and spots on the sofa cushion. When I told the front desk about the hair and showed her a picture, she looked at me like she was scared and didn't even speak. I was very kind. She was no help. I told and showed the lady the next morning at check out. Again, I was extremely kind. She was apologetic. I emailed Holiday Inn, Cartersville and I emailed IHG Customer Relations. No one responded. The lady at check out told me she'd let her manager know and someone would contact me. No one has. I will always give anyone the benefit of the doubt. I will not tolerate being ignored for their mistake and in this case grossness. I would never leave a negative review if the problem had been resolved or if anyone had even acknowledged my communications. I will use my points then switch to another chain. IHG is not the only one.

Not a good value..stay somewhere else

Upon check-in advised pool and work out room closed due to health department unable to inspect pool and work out room due to Covid.
Stayed five out of six nights, family wanted a hotel with pool, checked out early and because I prepaid through Priceline hotel refused refund. Near-by hotel Homes2Suite, indoor pool never closed and when I asked about Covid excuse they stated they didn't know what I was talking about.
Hotel staff advised pool and workout room possible closed to reduce costs. Many nice hotels in the area, I would check others which are nicer and cheaper and more family friendly. Stay somewhere else!!

On our Way to Florida

We weren't sure what to expect once we left Ohio to go to Florida. We were impressed with the covid19 safety procedures the hotel was following. Of course, we wanted the pool and fitness centers opened, but we understood there was no way they would be opened. I had called in advance to find out about breakfast and I was told there would be several things we could grab and go. We were impressed once we got breakfast. A very friendly girl was behind a table getting whatever food we asked for; eggs, sausage, toasted english muffins, juice. It was better than we expected.

I had mistakenly said the wrong things about your bathrooms! I confused the other hotel I stayed at the second night of my travels with yours!
Your hotel is PERFECT!!!
