King bed height for "king size" people

Although all of the staff were excellent people, I have some issues with this hotel. This is the first time I've had to "jump up" or use an ottoman to climb into an extremely high bed. Definitely not for people under 6 ft. tall. Also, there was no brochure or information sheet in the rooms to tell you where to find the ice machines. The restaurant staff couldn't get the dinner order right both times eating there so I didn't want to chance breakfast the day of check-out. Cold cereal in the lobby would have been a better bet. Not sure if the long black hairs in my bathroom sink were from the cleaner or the previous guest. (My hair is short and white)

Wedding at the Holiday Inn - University Area

We had our wedding in the Holiday Inn ballroom, and it was absolutely amazing: great price, great food and great atmosphere. We stayed in one of their suite rooms that evening, and it was very comfortable and clean. They also made the room special for us since we were there for our wedding. We loved that they let us drop off welcome bags to our guests staying in the hotel, too. Our guests loved how modern the hotel was and the delicious on-site dining. We can't recommend the Holiday Inn for a wedding or a night's stay enough!

Overcharged for stay follow-up

Despite follow-up indicating I received a corporate rate for stay where I was over charged with the top dollar walk in rate; I wanted to indicate I did take the time to talk with property personnel and they did indicate there was a corporate rate for the company on receipt of hotel stay which was different than the rate which I was charged. So I did not receive the corp rate and your response is a lie.
