Awful experience

I booked my room off my IHG app at 5:30 pm. I got to your hotel around 8 pm. I was looking in to why the front desk hd said that breakfast would be 12.99 a person even though my son is 11. When I was using the app to check this out I noticed the same room I had booked was now a total of $117 instead of the $138 I just paid at your desk. I called IHG offices and they said because I had checked in they would not be able to help but that your front desk could. The main office saw the same thing I did and said that should not be occurring with a price change the same day within a few hours.

So I went to the front desk to speak with them. At first they wouldn’t even listen to what I was saying. They started to explain to me the incidentals fee. When I explained that was not what I was referring to , he said he couldn’t do anything but offer me a free bottle of water for
my inconvenience. That apparently y’all change prices like that all the time.

I stay at holiday inns frequently and this has never happened. I emailed the Manager and Have not heard back.

Beware if book this hotel through third party

Our main concern is getting charged for the room from the hotel after already getting charged after booking through HOTWIRE. The manager claimed that they didn't get the payment from Hotwire. The same thing happened to my dad who stayed at the same time as us. I am still trying to get this resolved. I have read through some reviews after the fact and noticed there have been others with the same issue over the last year.

Otherwise our stay was fine. It was clean and comfortable. We understand that finding employees to work is tough right now so things were very thin as far as customer service goes. The restaurant had very limited hours and a very limited menu. Would think coffee would at least always be available in the lobby as most hotels do offer that.

Awful management, room disgusting, no housekeeping

Do not stay here !!!!

Rooms are not cleaned properly.
Raj Patel manager is an absolute rude jerk.

We made it to the room, and I moved the shower curtain and crusted dried wash cloth fell to the floor. I used my shoe to move it under the sink. Later that evening as we we were taking showers. We noticed we only had 3 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 0 wash cloths (unless you want to count the 1 used dirty one). I booked a suite for 5 people and only 3 towels?!? Okay so I send my son down to get more easy enough. We carry on about our stay, I change a diaper of one of my children and notice none of the small trash cans have bags in them? Annoyed yes but again small thing. During our stay one of the children had an accident, in the bed. We stop by the front desk on our way out for the day and inform the lady at the front that we need our trash taken out which we have bagged and waiting, we have cleaned the room and stripped the one bed in need of the linens changed and she replies no problem accidents happen we will get this taken care of for you. This is around 11am. We leave and continue on enjoying our vacation. We return to the hotel around 8 pm. Open the door and you can smell sour urine, and the trash has not been removed. Trey goes down stairs to speak to the manager, Umar very polite desk Clerk calls the manager. Manager states they haven't gotten to it yet, and that he will not be refunding our money nor moving us rooms there's nothing he can do about that. I then go down and ask to speak to the manager, I say why would your front desk clerk tell us no problem if it is in fact a problem. He stated a guest was working the front and didn't know the policy they don't clean stay overs only check outs. I said so you can't move us, you can't clean and you won't give a refund? He threatened to call the cops on me for being upset. So we had to leave in the middle of the night, no resolution snd was still charged full price. I asked for a refund of the night we couldn't stay and a refund 1 night for the inconvenience. Very disappointed and ruined our spring break. We literally packed up and loaded the car and left in the middle of the night. He changed our receipt to state "late check out " and it totaled more then one night stay to begin with.

Highly do not recommend.
Why is the manager cleaning rooms at night.
Is the no cleaning stay overs a covid thing or a well I already got there money oh well thing?

I am a Platinum member I stay at a lot of IHG properties this is the absolute worst.

Why would he allow a guest to work the front desk when she is not properly trained. I've stayed at many many many IHG properties and was shocked at the poor level of service I received here. Why is a "guest" working the front desk. The night clerk stated she was new and was unaware of policy. The manager stated she's a guest that stays there. The manager said he was still cleaning rooms himself at 8pm at night because he had no maid staff. The rooms are poorly cleaned. He is extremely rude and unwilling to assist and correct matters. Very very very dissatisfied

One of the most beautifully done hotels I have ever been to. Modern style, top notch bathroom, very clean. Good restaurant and bar. No cons about the hotel
