Improvement for the management

In this hotel, I would like to say the client service department (the one who serviced on the call not in the hotel) and room cleaning auntie (auntie Zhu for room 1116) are great. I appreciated the room upgrade and I will continue to choose this brand and this hotel. The staff who impressed me a lot is the restaurant manager Lydia He. She is really friendly and warmhearted. Expect all these aspects, I also want to remind the leadership team that the most part of this hotel is in chaotic state. As a diamond membership of IHG, I don’t feel some enthusiastic welcome from the front desk or duty manager even if something unhappy happened and I looked for help. The handling ability of them is not capable at all. I always think they cannot treat the client like a stranger and say some bad words for the clients. And I don’t want to go to details but I think the training for them is essential, in a IHG high level service. Another one is that the swimming pool of this hotel is the most horrible one I ever seen in any Intercontinental hotel. Too many foreign personnels and too many activities here. It seems like a public pool but not prepared for accommodated clients. They should really pay attention for that. Lastly I want to say, why I give so much feedback, it’s just because I want to come back again and see more management improvements. Cheers!

本人第二次入住宁波洲际酒店,虽然酒店离市区比较远。而且上次入住又不太愉快的经历。但是2个月后又有机会来到宁波。还是选择了洲际出于对IHG的喜爱。短短两个月酒店的变化真的是翻天覆地的。特别是前台部经理Wayne,为我的入住花了很多时间安排。从订房到入住以及check-out都受到了他的关怀。酒店员工也非常努力的在服务客人。房间这次被升级了,房间非常舒适,而且细节到位。点了Room service虽然有点咸了,餐厅也马上给出了解决方案。
下次一定还会选择宁波洲际酒店。也希望贵酒店越来越好!

可能是由于酒店地理位置的原因,至今酒店还处于试营业阶段,因此一些配套服务项目,如健身房,游泳池,行政酒廊等尚未启用,给有需要住客带来了不便,特别是中餐服务上尤为明显。

My guestes arrived hotel at 2PM, was told by the front dest, 3 rooms are not avaible and they need wait Another 2 hours. Its in Holiday and my guests arranged tight visit schedule, hopping to take a nap in the hotel room but FAILED. Also they planed to leave hotel early the next day morning. I sincerely hope the InterCon Ningbo would consider those early-check-out guests, SHOULD prepare the room RIGHT BEFORE 2PM, so they can enjoy the staying with more replex.

酒店装修高雅,周边环境一流

坐落在高新区内,所以周边主要以办公楼和私人住宅为主,绿化设施很好,但相对的商业配套较差。如果是旅游目的入住酒店的话,建议自己开车来,会更方便出行。

Remote. Lack of Facility. Staff Not Cheerful Enough.

1. Location is big drawback. Not only it is remote, there is basically no where to buy basic amenities or groceries if needed from nearby. The closest convenient store will take you 10 mins walk and there is nothing on site.

2. Further to point 1, apart from one buffet restro, Chinese restro and simple lobby lounge, there is literally nothing to do within the hotel premise. Gym, after one year of establishement of the hotel, is still housed in a guest room on 6th floor. Spa is not yet open. You basically find no way to spare a bit more time in the hotel, or kill time if you have a little more spare with your daily schedule.

3. Staff is okay but you will immediately notice that when comparing against other major mainland Chinese cities (to be a fairer comparison), staff in this hotel lacks smile and courtesy expression. Basic gratitude for sure is not omitted but all sounds monotonous. Service, however, is not a problem. But some more cheerful team of staff will help compensate the inadequacies from the physical set up, which sadly is not yet observed.

It is unfortunate that due to some technical problem, we were unable to open the fitness center at current stage but will be ready very soon. We look forward to your next stay with us in the near future and to allowing us the opportunity to leave you with a better impression of our hotel to render the InterContinental experience.
