On the museum’s second floor, relax with a cup of coffee and local pastries in front of a spectacular ocean view.

For more than 20 years, Scuba Du, Presidente InterContinental Cozumel’s on-property, five-star PADI dive center, has been leading scuba and snorkeling enthusiasts from around the world on trips to view amazing coral and reef formations. Once back on the boat, divers are greeted with seasonal fruit, bottled water and fresh towels. Scuba Du also offers parasailing, wave runner rentals and offshore fishing excursions. If you prefer to relax in land, the resort’s Spa offers revitalizing and rejuvenating treatments that combine the mystical power of indigenous plants, herbs and expert touch. The spa mingles with nature and is as much an outdoor experience as it is an indoor one. Before your treatment, relax in the jacuzzi or outdoor soaking tub and indulge in a massage by the Mayan Riviera in one of our Mexican Huts. Spa transcends time and offers a taste of ancient Mayan culture with its authentic Mayan Temazcal (ancient herbal steam bath). Within the Temazcal a rich and unexpected experience awaits in which a Shaman guides you through a cleansing ritual that is based on an ancient rite of passage. Next, grab your backpack, snorkel equipment and underwater camera (you can purchase one in our gift shop) for a perfect afternoon exploring the spectacular underwater life of Chankanaab National Park. Just minutes from the resort, the park offers wonderful snorkellng. Search for the Christ sculpture during your snorkel tour. Every day, the park offers a guided tour through the archeological ruins as well as a visit to the lagoon that gives name to the park. Lo sapevi?
  • Mayans

The Mayans considered Cozumel sacred to Ixchel, the Mayan moon goddess, and the island was a place of pilgrimage, particularly for women in search of fertility. At the sites of ancient temples, archaeologists often uncover the small dolls that were once offered in sacrifice as part of the fertility rituals.

  • Private Transportation

If you want to enjoy a first-class experience, we provide as one of our additional services private airport pick up and drop off services.

  • Sea Turtles

Cozumel Island is known for the best diving in the western hemisphere. What many do not know is Cozumel is also a major nesting ground for the loggerhead and the hawksbill sea turtles. These amazing creatures nest primarily on the south side of the island. If you are on the island between May and October, you can witness this amazing experience as you walk through the beaches accompanied by a biologist, while experiencing the behavior of the marine turtle first hand. Every year, thousands of sea turtles arrive on Cozumel's eastern coast in order to lay their eggs. A sanctuary is in operation to protect the nests of this endangered species. The island also has one of the world's most beautiful coral reefs.

  • Safety

Cozumel is a very safe place. You can walk around late at night without worrying about your security.
