Run down, dirty and disappointing.

The good: The staff we encountered were pleasant enough. Our sheets were clean and the beds were comfortable. Air conditioning worked well and we had plenty of hot water.
The negative: the hotel was undergoing renovations in the main part of the hotel and it was not mentioned at all when we booked.
Our suite was rundown, you can just tell it has been very well used for quite awhile.
The bathroom was dirty. There was hair in the tub, the travel-sized lotion on the counter was half empty and the walls had not been wiped down in a LONG time.
Our key cards were deactivated after a day (the lady at the front desk said this is why they weren't working) so we had to get new ones from the front desk. My husband accidentally demagnetized his later and the front desk clerk seemed a little aggravated that we were back to get yet another card. And believe me, we didn't want to be down there getting another one either.
The worker manning the kitchen was at the main entrance smoking a cigarette one day when we were coming in. Just not really what I care to see when entering a hotel.
One of the reasons we picked this hotel was because they have an indoor pool. Our last day there, my kids were dying to swim. So, we signed up for a time to swim (Covid rules) and later took them down to the pool. We couldn't believe how dirty the pool was. The water was very, very cloudy. It wasn't just cloudy because maybe the chemicals were off because the sides of the pool and the stairs were very dirty. You couldn't see the bottom in the deeper end.
Some long term maintenance, cleaning and employee training would go a long way here. It's pretty rare that I leave such a negative review, but I just hope the management reads this and takes it to heart as this could be a very nice place to stay.

Our room was very nice. The bed was comfortable and it was great to have a couch and kitchenette!
Great Stay; Close to Home

My wife and I were travelling to Hot Springs for a quick getaway from our home in West Memphis. We have stayed at other hotels in Hot Springs, but I would place the Staybridge at the very top of that list. Our room was extremely spacious and a great value, especially compared to other hotels in the area. Will most definitely be returning with our kids... Great stay; close to home.
