The bourbon distillery founded in 1869 received the name when Thomas MCarthey took a supply of his bourbon on a wild turkey hunting trip. His group of friends loved it so much the brand was born. Distillery does give tours.

Full service marina with boat slips and cabin rentals open April to October 7 days a week. This artifical lake is 35 miles long and has fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, wake boarding and boat riding.
