Mold & Horrible Staff

Mold, mold, & more mold! Throw in an obscene amount of cigarette smoke as well. My stay here was horrendous. My room was changed 3 different times due to mold issues. A 4th due to cigarette smoke and broken appliances. I was offered incense and air freshener as a resolution to the walls, carpet, curtains, etc being saturated with cigarette smoke. I thought that it was a joke. The refrigerator was leaking water and the door would not close. No one came to address that or clean up the water. I did it myself.

Due to the timing of all of the switching, it was too late for me to switch hotels, and I prepaid.

A manager never came to my room to address any of the issues. Upon checking out, I had to make the manager aware of the issue, to which she did not seem to care.

I was offered a partial refund that was never received.

Calling the corporate office yielded no results as I was advised that “these locations are individually owned and operated. Issues need to be resolved locally.”

If you care about your health, run away.

Upon entering my room I met with several issues -
• a puddle on the floor, and the refrigerator door was open.
• freezer ice machine was not working properly
• ceiling light was very dim
• Used kitchen sink once and another puddle appeared on the floor in that area.
• pink stain on the carpet in front of the couch
• Lamps on bedside night table were dusty, one didn’t work
• bedside phone wasn’t working, guess it was for show
• Bathroom door didn’t slide open all the way
• toilet flush lever was loose, water kept running - unless you giggled the handle
• bathroom sink drain stopper was down, caused sink to fill with water. Used a knife from the kitchen to prop the lever open so water would drain

Roaches and Cigarettes

First let me say the lady at the front desk was very nice. I feel sorry for her because she must get a lot of complaints. I even heard a man in front of me checking out tell her he saw a roach in his room. So did I.

They are smoke-free inside but keep ashtrays right next to the entryways. The entrances smell of stale cigarettes. It's terrible. I even had my first room moved bc it smelled of cigarettes. I was told somebody may have been smoking in their room. The room just didn't feel clean either.

My new room looked really nice. But as I stayed there I noticed a lack of toilet paper and when I asked for more I got 1 roll for the entire week.

I understand they aren't cleaning rooms a such bc of corona but, roaches? And a general nonclean feeling. My room was right near a side door exit and the area was dirty. Dog urine and other stuff. Didn't get cleaned during my week long stay. Of course a huge ashtray sat near that entry door too and reeked. Very unpleasant.

The thing that holds the showerhead was broken. Luckily bc the room was accessible it had lower places to put the showerhead. But I couldn't stand under water to let it flow, so the shower wasn't that great.

I asked the front desk to warn housekeeping that I had thrown some towels over one of the roaches as he ran across the floor. So disgusting.

It just was not a good experience. You are not even given a bill at final checkout or an email. I had to go onto their website to see final charges.

I trashed my dogs food and water bowls, left behind tp, towels, washcloths, and handwash that I bought myself and brought to the hotel bc it was like pulling teeth asking for anything extra. Apart from trashing items and losing money from that, I just felt so disgusting when I got home. I've never felt dirty after a hotel stay.

When I called customer relations to complain they were so unhelpful. They were going to give me rewards points. Really? Like I'd want to stay there again? I'm terrified I may have brought roaches back to my home! That's why I trashed so many items that I had in the room with me, so as to not bring that into my home.

IHG's customer service is sorely lacking. And I might add their rooms are not cheap. Such a disappointment.

Not so lovely of a stay

I had to rewrite my reveiw because this website won't allow me to explain in full detail about my stay. Hopefully the photos will help, there was a sticky like white substance on the bedroom curtain. OMG what could that have been! And the mattresse/sofa bed within 2 different rooms had this red or yellow type of stain. OMGGGGGGG! What could like have been that many vistors are sleeping on!? And the smell of the rooms were soooo not lovely smelling. And the 3 people that work here failed to fix this imporatant issue with my husband and I, not even a refund was sent to us.
