I had a pleasant stay at the Candlewood Suites on Fort Riley, Kansas. The hotel was very clean, and the staff did a great job maintaining the rooms and common areas. One of the highlights was the breakfast—fresh, with a good variety of options to start the day.
Another big plus for me was the location. It offered an easy commute to my business engagements, making my trip more convenient and stress-free. Overall, it’s a solid option for anyone visiting the area, combining comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. I’d definitely stay here again!

Some may say their facilities “strive for five”. When I rate this facility, I’d say they arrived at 5! Well done, this visit, last visit, the last 12 plus visits, all the same. Well done. Recommended and appreciated. They arrived at 5!

Special thanks to Cara for helping us with everything from TLE, housing and room reservations. She has a warm genuine welcoming vibe making your stay a relaxing experience. Breakfast crews Rose and Christine were on point for feeding us with a smile, though Rose looks serious but rather dedicated for making sure food is always available and tables were clean. Housekeepers and maintenance were quick to attend to your needs. Also, we’re authorized late checkout by a Supervisor didn’t know her name.Overall I’ll give a 5 star for our stay. Thank you!!!

I visit Fort Riley often. There is no other place I’d rather stay on a work visit that this hotel! Everything they do, and I’ve watched them over the years, is help the traveler get rest and refreshed.
It’s more than “this is your room, pay and be safe.” This hotel has great hot food every morning. Found ways to keep giving through covid times, keeps high standards of clean rooms and facilities. The current GM was leaving the building just as I arrived. She walked behind the desk to greet me, as she always does and check me in. Marietta is a fine young woman who cares about what she does every day! She is a great choice to lead your hotel at Fort Riley.
The kitchen staff are always friendly, have never denied a request from me that was possible and use much care in keeping the food area clean and full. I always hear kind conversations in the public format. Everyone has trouble in life, but this group know it does not need to be shared during work hours. Thank you!
Once a week they offer an evening meal to the military. Thank you! They keep up to date activities for our moving military and other guests on base. They need more rooms! Your business is growing there, I hope you respond with expansion. Some updates were scheduled for this fall! Thank you for those as well.
The front desk is always helpful and no matter the problem, they resonate with solutions. True customer service! Thank you.
As I reach the end of my career and will soon be retired from my business, every stay, and I do mean EVERY stay at this facility has been 5 stars. They live that out every visit, every day. It’s not a standard that seek as much as a goal of somehow outdoing the 5 to seek a 6th star. I’d give that to them. Their example is well worth it.

This being my 2nd stay at the Candlewood Suites on Fort Riley I knew it would be well worth the money, but the staff and amenities never cease to impress. The manager and staff are always extremely kind, personable, and very helpful. The breakfast is very good, pool is clean and large, and rooms are more of an apartment feel than hotel. I will be comparing all future hotel stays to this location and staff and highly recommend
