"I’m very appreciative that IHG makes it easy for military spouses, like me, to retain a job when transitioning to a new post. This will be my third transition back to Alaska from Hunter Army Airfield and the hotel transfer has been an easy one. The teams at Fort Wainwright and Hunter Army Airfield have made me feel very welcome and I’m excited to return. The best part is taking what you learned from one hotel to another and helping your new hotel grow. Being part of IHG Army Hotels is the best decision I ever made!"

"I was employed at Yuma Proving Ground Army Lodging since 2006 and was the Front Desk Supervisor when Army Lodging transitioned to IHG Army Hotels in August 2009. By Oct 2009, IHG promoted me to Operations Manager. Because of the training, guidance, and mentorship I received from the IHG team, I applied for and got the General Manager position at IHG Army Hotels Dugway Proving Ground. I never thought that the hospitality field would be something I would have made a career out when I started with Army Lodging, but here I am 11 years into a career I love and IHG helped make that happen."

"I transitioned to IHG Army Hotels when I was General Manager of the Army Lodging facility on Fort McCoy; I was fortunate enough to be considered to continue my hospitality career with IHG. From there I have moved to the IHG Army Hotels on Fort Lee, one of the largest in our portfolio with 1,000 rooms. Managing such a large hotel has given me the opportunity to grow tremendously, and working with IHG has been the fulfillment of my goals in the hospitality world. I still have so many more challenges to look forward to and to learn from."
