This hotel was closer to the industrial park where are plant is, so was easier for our group to get in each day. But I prefer the ambiance of the Centro Historico, as well as proximity to downtown.
I'd sacrifice another 10 minutes to the plant to be closer to evening activities. Also, Zona Krystal is much more modern (glass, stainless steel), versus the more beautifully authentic look/feel of the Centro. Finally, the new Krystal hotel has a lot of noise issues in it's construction. Water from toilets/showers can be heard all the time, and bar/crowd noise carries too easily up the central atrium.
If proximity to the industrial parks is your priority, this is your hotel. But for longer stays and a more relaxed feel, try the Centro Historico. [Less]
