Here is Your Complete Guide to Sin City
Description

Las Vegas packs a punch and there’s something for everyone if you know where to find it. Concerts, casinos, clubs, and some of the very best cocktails—this Nevada town is known around the world for its glitz, glamor, and wild parties, but there’s so much more to "America's Playground” if you just give it a little love and a chance to shine. Hiking? Check. Art museums? You bet. Mind-blowing dining experiences? Oh, yeah. Bigger is better in Vegas and this comprehensive guide breaks down our favorite restaurants, hotels, and attractions so you can maximize your stay every single time.

Description

It goes without being said, but some of the best performers have residencies in Vegas. Adele, Usher, U2, you name it—if you love music, comedy, dance, or even the circus, you can’t visit Sin City without seeing a show.

There are museums and galleries galore in Vegas. Explore the Mob Museum, Discovery Children’s Museum, or the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art to immerse yourself in culture and history. The Neon Museum Las Vegas isn’t on the Strip, but is worth a visit nonetheless. Featuring the coolest signs in an outdoor setting since 1996, the Neon Museum sells out often so make sure to plan ahead and purchase tickets in advance.

Treat yourself to a massage or facial at one of the many world-class spas in the city. Or do a little shopping at Vegas’s high-end boutiques in hotels like the Shops at Crystals, the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian, or Primm Mall, which features 127 murals

from artists around the world.

Celebrating something special? Take a gondola ride at the Venetian and float down the Grand Canal under the starry sky. Traveling with children? They’ll get a kick out of the Bellagio Fountains and the Mirage Volcano. If they’re into live performances or magic, book a show like Cirque du Soleil that everyone will love. Outdoor adventures, like hiking in Red Rock Canyon or a day trip to the Hoover Dam, are plentiful too.

Off the Beaten Path
Downtown Las Vegas, or Old Vegas, provides a completely different experience than the Strip and is equally as fun to visit. Wander down Fremont Street, known for live entertainment, vintage casinos, quirky bars, and more, and get a taste of what the city was originally like back in the early 20th century.

If you have a car, take a drive to Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone’s Seven Magic Mountains installation in Ivanpah Valley. This gorgeous art piece in the middle of the desert consists of colorful boulders stacked more than 30 feet high and is a truly breathtaking experience.

Seas the Day

Did you know that in Vegas 60,000 pounds of shrimp are consumed daily, on average? So if you’re going to order crustaceans, you can’t go wrong with the jumbo shrimp cocktail at Joe’s Seafood Prime Steak & Stone Crab. Or you can go all out with the grilled blue shrimp from New Caledonia at Estiatorio Milos—the restaurant flies in fresh seafood from the Mediterranean and beyond every single day

Description

Known simply as "The Venetian," this iconic resort offers an unparalleled luxury experience in the heart of the Strip. With a bustling casino, tons of entertainment options, spacious suites, and world-class dining, the Venetian immerses guests in an opulent inspired atmosphere, complete with gondola rides along its picturesque indoor canals.

Adjacent to the Venetian, the Palazzo offers an elevated stay with upscale accommodations and a sophisticated ambiance. Guests can indulge in spacious suites featuring modern amenities, dine at renowned restaurants, relax by the pool, or explore upscale shopping, all just a few steps away.

Just off the Vegas Strip, Holiday Inn Club Vacations At Desert Club Resort provides a tranquil oasis amid the excitement of the city. Perfect for families and groups, this resort offers spacious villas with fully-equipped kitchens, multiple pools, a fitness center, and a variety of recreational activities. Guests can enjoy easy access to the famous attractions of the Strip while also soaking in the comforts of a retreat that feels like home.

Description

The Venetian Hotel and Palazzo at the Venetian share a whopping 10+ on-property restaurants so no matter what you’re in the mood for, you’re bound to find it here. Book a table at Yardbird Southern Table and Bar for chicken and waffles or indulge in French bistro classics at Chef Thomas Keller’s Bouchon. Explore South and Central American flavors at Chef Lorena Garcia’s Chica, where the menu combines Venezuelan, Peruvian, Brazilian, Mexican, Argentinian and other influences resulting in dishes bursting with personality and bold flavor. Tantalize your tastebuds with authentic Mediterranean cuisine at Estiatorio Milos, also inside the Venetian. With a focus on fresh seafood and Greek flavors, this upscale restaurant offers an elegant dining experience in a chic setting for a delicious night out.

Two more restaurants inside the hotels include Mott 32 and Sushi Samba. Discover modern Chinese cuisine with a twist at Mott 32. With a diverse menu highlighting traditional Chinese dishes prepared with innovative techniques and premium ingredients, a meal at Mott 32 will most certainly be memorable. Or you may prefer the vibrant fusion of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian flavors at Sushi Samba, inside the Grand Canal Shoppes. From sushi rolls to sizzling robata dishes, the creative cuisine here is sure to ignite the senses.

By Korean-American chef Roy Choi, Best Friend offers a playful take on Korean-Mexican fusion with delicious menu items like kimchi carbonara, plus an entire menu packed with vegan delicacies like banchan, miso squash with crispy shallots, veggie fried rice, and more.

Make time for a nightcap at Mama Rabbit Mezcal + Tequila Bar, too. The beautiful, bright-colored bar and restaurant, an ode to Mayahuel (the goddess of agave and tequila), is home to the city’s largest agave-based spirits selection. Grab a specialty cocktail or choose a great mezcal or tequila from what seems to be a never-ending menu.

Two really out there options include the Eiffel Tower Restaurant (fine French cuisine with stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip and the iconic replica of the Eiffel Tower) and Top of the World (a revolving restaurant featuring contemporary American cuisine and 360-degree views of the Vegas skyline).

In a hurry? Satisfy your burger craving with a visit to In-N-Out, a beloved fast-food chain known throughout Nevada and California for its fresh ingredients and not-so-secret, secret menu. Can’t go wrong with delicious burgers, fries, and shakes in a casual setting, or you can get your meal to go. In-N-Out is conveniently located near the Strip.

Description

There are so many ways to get around Vegas, but if you’re staying on the Strip, we would suggest walking. Many of the major hotels, resorts, and attractions are here and it’s a very pedestrian-friendly area. You can easily walk between many of the casinos and entertainment venues. If you’re traveling a bit further, the Las Vegas Monorail runs along the east side of the Strip, and stops at several major hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center. It's a really clean and convenient way to travel between hotels. Other than that, you can always call a taxi or use your preferred ride share service. RTC transit is also a reliable bus system covering the Vegas area, including the Strip. Buses run frequently and are a cost-effective alternative to ride share.

Description

Pack for the Strip
Packing for Las Vegas means gearing up for the extreme desert weather. In summer, bring lightweight, breathable clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to beat the scorching heat, with temperatures often exceeding 100°F (38°C). Fall and spring call for layering with a mix of short-sleeve shirts and lightweight jackets or sweaters, while winter demands warmer layers for cooler temperatures, especially at night. Don't forget walking shoes so you can explore the Strip comfortably, and a chic outfit or two for evenings out.

Explore More
Venture beyond the Strip to cities like Henderson, just 20 minutes from downtown Vegas, where you can trade the hustle and bustle of neon lights and 24/7 parties for serene parks, a local dining scene, and some really solid outdoor adventures. Animal lovers should visit the picturesque Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve and history buffs can stop in to view Native American exhibits, historic houses, and a recreated ghost town at Clark County Museum.
