EVEN better than expected

Had a wonderful stay at this location. I’ve never stayed in an Even hotel, so it was a great insight. Thank you Seamus who accommodated my request and made sure it was communicated. Room was clean and quiet. Not a fitness buff, but if I were the amenities in the room would be perfect!

We stayed here for the UM commencement.
This is a very nice hotel which is a 10 min drive from campus.
It has all the required amenities and the service was excellent.

The front desk staff member during our stay was Shamus and he went above & beyond to provide great service.

Everything about this hotel was nice. the pool might have had too much chlorine in it but it didn’t stop me from enjoying it. Definitely will be back soon

Whoever came up with the concept of this hotel did an amazing job. Everything was wonderful from check in thru check out and everything in between. The room was perfect and the fact that everything I needed was on property. The amenities are perfect and I would DEFINITELY stay again.
Third Time Around

My upcoming stay in 2 weeks marks the third time staying at EVEN of Ann Arbor. It’s been a very positive experience and expect to have a repeat in Oct. I’ve enjoyed the gym,pool,and training options in my room. Upon my last visit, the airlines had lost my luggage and the staff went above and beyond getting it back!

The only thing I didn’t like about this place was the placement of the bathroom. The door to bathroom was right in front of the bed. There was an automatic light in the bathroom that was motion censored so It was impossible to go into the bathroom without the light coming on and disturbing the others sleeping.. But, other than that! AWESOME! Soo I still give It a 5 star

Meg, the GM, get super upset when you complain and makes you feel super uncomfortable. I am never gong back to that hotel again. I feel bad because It was a great hotel, however when they put you in a room that is not what you booked or when you complained about being clean. Not worth it, they put me in a smoking room that wasn’t even clean.

There was no hot water in the sink or shower, and the washcloths had brown stains. I got a chirpy email from Meg a month after the stay asking me to leave a review, but then she didn’t respond when I replied and let her know about the water and towels. So here’s the review.
Nice and clean hotel

Only thing I would say I didn’t like was I did not get Id when I got to the hotel. Honestly could have been anyone checking into my room. I’m not sure if that is ihg standard to do so it was a fast and simple check in.
Also the front desk agent had friends hanging around the front desk after I had checked into my rooms and walked down to check out the restaurant and pool area.

Meg, the General Manager, was amazing! Very welcoming, thorough and super efficient. All other desk staff also very kind and knowledgable.
Shirley, the breakfast server also deserves a 'shout out' as she was cheerful and efficient as well. She welcomed us with a smile and got us off to a friendly start to our day ...which was going to the wonderful Art Fair!!
Also, love that you could work out in the room!
We will definitely stay here again.

We needed a hotel room close to U of M hospital because my nephew was injured. This hotel was very nice. It was clean and modern and the staff was very polite. Would definitely stay here again.

I never heard of this hotel and booked only on ratings for cleanliness and comfortable beds. I have a young baby and had been craving 8 hours of real sleep. I literally wanted to cry from happiness when I got in the room. Check in was easy and friendly, super clean and loved the optional flavored waters in the lobby. I already was impressed but the personal fitness equipment in the room was amazing. It was a great alternative to bad furniture and having to hit the fitness center. The shower was the best experience, I have never used a waterfall shower head, and the pressure and temperature were perfection. The selling point was the bed, which was clean, comfortable and felt so luxurious after stretching out. I slept like a rock. I love the fact there is a restaurant there and that in the morning I had a made to order option. This place is such a hidden gem, the price is great for what's included. I seriously appreciated my stay so much, I will definitely return.
