My fiance and I had the best experience staying here. The staff was welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The room, breakfast and view were amazing. We will definitely be coming back!
End of our road trip

My wife and I stayed in March and enjoyed it so much we decided to finish our road trip with 4 days on relaxation. Hotel has a great location with lovely views from the terrace overlooking Pikes Peak. The swimming pool and hot tub are nice with new furniture. Grills under a gazebo by the pool and on the terrace. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rachel will always suggested places to visit locally or wider a field. All in all great hotel.
Don’t waste your money!

The family suite was great traveling with two teenagers. However, the room was dirty! At the high price of the suites you would expect something nice and clean. Doors didn’t shut properly, they were stained with black fingerprints and there was other filth in the room. Our keys didn’t work most of the time. About the only good thing about this hotel is the staff. They were friendly and helpful.
IHG needs to inspect their hotels! I wouldn’t have expected this from them! Especially with paying over $450 per night.
If you’re looking for a nice family suite head to Estes Park & check out the Quality Inn. Beautiful and clean family suites with a gorgeous pool.
Excellent experience and Dog Friendly

We stayed at this Staybridge Suites, Colorado Springs North last week for several nights. It was a great experience. Clean and well located. We had our Lab with us and the hotel is very dog friendly.
Scott the Manager made sure the room location was convenient for our dog who was seeing a veterinarian specialist for mobility surgery. Scott was helpful and personable and his staff was efficient.
Breakfast buffet had lots of variety, was well presented and plentiful.
We would definitely stay here again.

Horrible smell in rooms

The first room they gave us smelled like dog feces. They upgraded our room but the new room still had issues we just decided not to complain again but asked if they allowed smoking in the room because it seemed as if the room had been previously smoked in. They charged us an extra $300 and accused my husband of smoking in the room which he did not - he smoked outside every time. The manager was extremely rude and was acting as if he was judge, jury and executioner - he refused to hear reason and after yelling accusations hung up the phone in my face. I think they were just upset because we pointed out that the first room smelled bad. He told me that if I can afford a lawyer then I should be able to afford $300. Which I can but I should not have to pay for it when we did not smoke in the room. We stayed at over 10 different hotels this past month and this is the only one I have to give a 1 star. I certainly hope they put that $300 to good use - cleaning, sanatizing, etc. ✌️

What a wonderful hotel and excellent staff. From the manager, the desk attendant, housekeeping and maintenance. We were treated like family and with genuine concern for our situation.
The price verses value bar none, the best we have ever had. The breakfast and supers were superb and truly delicious! I would recommend anyone in need of a great place to stay, go there. Not to mention, if you’re having a pet going to Colorado Springs Orthopedic hospital, you receive a generous discount !
Hats off to everyone there, high class operations through and through

If given a choice I usually stay in newly constructed hotels but given that my lodging was more of a need not a want I give this place a five star. Scott, the general manager, Rachel, front desk manager Rachel, and all the staff most especially the housekeeping lady who makes breakfast in the morning and the maintenance gentlemen.....just amazing personalities and very hard working. As a customer, I see that they take good care of their customers very well, accommodate them in every way possible, and best of all tries their very best to maintain the hotel no matter what. We stayed in this hotel for over 30 days, it is not home, but they made us feel at home. I give this hotel a 5 because they deserve a big thank you and pat in the back for a job well done. Covid or no covid, these people risk their life and work hard to provide customers with excellent service.

Despite the problems I had with my room specifically and the front desk staff, I liked the location of this hotel, it's amenities, free laundry, etc. I liked the room location we were assigned and the room layout it's just the room was a "hot mess" of issues. Upon arrival, I discovered the bathroom sink stopper & remote didn't work. The front desk staff was nice on phone until alerted about maintenance issues, then appeared to freeze up and demeanor changed. I was told maintenance would be sent and they never did come. The maintenance issues in the room became known during our 3 night stay: the sink stopper wasn't connected to "open-close" device so had to pry it out with knife to open and just pulled it out for rest of stay; the remote for one bedroom wouldn't change channels; the refrigerator was leaking from roof of refrigerator requiring a pool towel to be place in frig to collect water; the door lock would unlock but door wasn't aligned so door itself wouldn't open without NUMEROUS attempts; the A/C leaked in one bedroom causing a huge area of carpet to be soaked. Lastly our bedroom was under the fitness center so horrendous vibrations, sound from treadmills early mornings and anytime in use. In all honesty, as an employee I know we don't get the best rooms but this was a "hot mess." When checking out, I gave list of problems to front desk staff and again mentioned that good thing I was an employee because I can't imagine the feed back they would have gotten from a guest. Therefore I gave her that list as a courtesy to get room fixed before a guest checks in. Front Desk staff looked at me like a deer caught in the headlights. No response about state of the room, maintenance issues presented, no sorry. She did acknowledge the fitness center above the room. I was dumbfounded staff's response to say the least!! I should have spoken to a manager.

We found the staff to be very welcoming and very accommodating. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. We plan on using this hotel brand more often. A great hotel for any occasion.

This was my first trip to Colorado Springs so I had no idea where to stay. This was a great choice! We flew in to Denver and made it to the hotel around noon and they were willing to let us check in early. I am also a rewards carrier and we were there to celebrate a birthday so they upgraded us to a suite since they had one available. It was great to have the extra space and made the room so relaxing. The staff was always super friendly as we were coming and going and always happy to give recommendations regarding dinner/activities when asked. The hotel was very clean and quiet.
There were a few minor things that I noticed. The fitness room ran out of water the second day we were there and since that fell on a weekend, it was never refilled. Also, the hotel provided free hot breakfast which was a plus when choosing to stay there. However, it often was not replenished and there wasn't a lot of variety. They had bananas the first day but didn't have them anymore after that, again I guess it was because it was the weekend and there were no food deliveries. However, I would think weekends are the busiest times and they would try to stay stocked up on everything. Again,, these are minor but when staying for several days it would have been nice to have a little more variety at breakfast and to have it adequately stocked during the breakfast hours.
Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely stay here again on future trips to Colorado Springs.
