The hotel is under renovation. The breakfast and lobby areas were as expected subpar. The parking was dangerous since a one way street was used as both an entrance and exit without the proper traffic controls. The staff seemed uncomfortable dealing with civilians since this is an Army facility. The breakfast bar attendant was gracious and helpful in the confined breakfast room with a continental selection. The renovated rooms were excellent. Locating the facility was difficult since its an older location with newer building being built in front of the original location as well as having three buildings to choose from for accommodation. All in all it was below average because of the renovations that have been on going for 3+. Years. The renovation crew were not working effectively which would explain the Louisiana “tude” for the length of time the renovation has taken.
