Overpriced and deceptive practices

Our room was gorgeous. But when it comes to staff interactions and pricing our stay was frustrating. First, no IHG status recognition whatsoever. Second I was told the “resort fee” includes access to the spa, which turns out is false. We didn’t use any of the items included in this fee, but are required to pay it. It’s a money grab plain and simple. Years ago it was optional. When I asked to remove it this time I was told it’s mandatory for everyone. This is misleading when you advertise one price but force this hidden fee on everyone. Also the stocked mini fridge is terrible. Nowhere to store your own drinks unless you pay more money for another empty fridge. Woman who self identified as the manager during check out was unapologetic and couldn’t be bothered to hear me out. Refused to help.

Could do better

A beautiful room but is let down by a lack of refreshments that don’t cost an arm and a leg tea/coffee making facilities would be nice especially first thing in the morning
Having to go downstairs and queue for 15 mins to get a cup of tea at a more reasonable price than room service is a pain
The same applies to breakfast
An experience worth doing once but very expensive

Front Desk/check-In failed

Absolutely ignored at front desk. Sent from line to line. Reservation made based on benefits of supposed status. Well, that didn’t happen. Status didn’t mean a thing. Asked for room away from elevators…..,was first room off the elevator.

Amazing experience for a great price

Our stay here was an amazing one. Not talking about our luck on the casino floor. Our check in experience was fantastic. A separate line for IHG members with friendly, supportive staff that explained everything to us incredibly well. Once in the room we were absolutely in awe of our suite. A big, clean room which was “on point” in every way possible. Bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was large, clean and shower was ideal.
Definitely a recommendation for anyone visiting Vegas!
Rooftop pool & bar was perfect as well as the location on the strip!

Bugs inside the room

Dirty room

The room was not as clean as I would expect for the resort quality and price. There was used tissue paper on the floor and the bathroom taps had residue/dirt on them. I also found hair in the shower drain.

Great Value

During stay here at the Palazzo has been very nice and the staff has been excellent and very helpful.
It is a treasure and private luxury. The rooms are spacious and plush. Large pools and wonderful spa. The following cast members deserve special recognition for their exemplary service and effort making each stay impeccable.
Dwight and Billy, both with facilities. Jennifer, Matthew and Lena with front office. Allen, Alex and Jensen with in room dining. These among with many others, consistently ensure our stay is nothing short of spectacular. Thank you for your efforts and taking such an individual approach to each guest. The hospitality feels genuine. This property has earned a special place in our hearts. Not to be soon forgotten.

Missed flight, extra night

We stayed at the Palazzo prior to the night here, which was a result of our missed flight home to Houston. The room was quite outdated compared to the previous nights stays; the old and worn out bathrobe could have been replaced. Not what I expected from an IHG resort stay.

Poor guest relations.

I had forgotten to cancel our stay, but had already rebooked for January. I did not receive an email to remind me of my stay to say to myself oh I forgot to cancel our reservation. I called the hotel and the representative was quite rude. She raised her voice and said the no show fee of $102 could not be refunded. Said I needed to call directly 3 days prior. She was not polite at all. We are IHG members and loyal customers. We visit Vegas often and love the Venetian. Yes it was my fault that I didn’t recheck to confirm the cancellation. However, she did NOT NEED to speak to me that way or raise her voice.
