Mountain Pass Route: Take I-80 West to the Tooele/Grantsville Exit (Exit 99). Stay on Route 36 South through the City of Tooele and the small town of Stockton. Continue past a small lake and the famous Penny’s Diner. About a half mile past the diner the road splits so keep right on Route 36. About 3 miles down the road, turn right onto Route 199. Twenty-five miles later you will arrive at Dugway’s main gate. Skull Valley Route: Take I-80 West and Exit at Rowley Junction (Exit 77). Go south under the overpass and head straight South for 37 miles on Skull Valley Road. This road ends at Dugway.
