Even if you don't want to experience the White Water Rafting personally, you can stroll along the river on our own river walk and enjoy the people in the water (do you dare the zip line across the Chatahoochee?). On weekends during mild weather there are often free concerts by the river. Try Geocaching on Fort Moore or catch a Pokemon at the library!
You must see all of the National Infantry Museum and that includes the surrounding area with the outdoor Army branches sculpture garden and parade fields and a re-created 1900's barracks and commons. White Water Rafting is only 5 miles away and a fun and daring thing to do for any ages.
Don't go home without trying the chicken and waffles at the Black Cow and the tender pork chop at The Loft. Upstairs after dinner enjoy bands or comedy at the Loft! If you are celebrating a graduation the Epic restaurant, while pricey, is incomparable. The Fife and Drum located in the National Infantry Museum is the perfect place to dine whether you have time to see the museum or not!
Get the tour at the National Infantry Museum. You will learn things you never knew! It's a toss up on eating at the Black Cow or The Loft. They are both amazing restaurants on a culinary level with any major city and less than 5 miles from the hotel. Don't forget our shuttle will take you anywhere on post for free. This includes graduations! Forget the hassle of parking your car and walking.
